You have a good chance at finding one where there are a lot of military loot spawns. Basically the oil rigs, NWAF and the checkpoint you built between Cherno and Balota.

Seriously there are insane amounts of loot at that checkpoint, around the broken APCs. Unfortunately you can't really get to all of it. That place needs some redoing. Maybe space it more out. Feels overloaded with stuff. Same for the 'base' at the NWAF. The amount of wrecks just looks ridiculous and pre-placed.

Their default behaviour should be to follow you and engage hostiles (mostly zombies). You can give them commands by selecting them via the F-keys. i.e. F2 will select your first companion and so on. Once you have them selected you can further use the number keys to get different menus. For example: '6' will give you the option to thell them to pick up different guns, backpacks, etc.

Yeah they did, got combination locks from zeds last play I did on an Epoch. Try adding that Craft Canvas from Clothes too. btw, since I've never tried the Crafting/Building on your release because of the bug im getting, I'll just ask it here, did you place the Modular Building system from Epoch on this release? I mean like these items here on this link.

Strange, these survivors didnt follow me at all. they shot the zeds but if i went to walk away they just went off and did their own thing. i'll try again

EDIT: also how can I fix the problem of some loot items appearing white, like the textures are messed up on them? things like the Canteens and i've also seen a white hatchet, not sure how to fix it :/ It seems to only happen on standard loot items from the original DayZ mod. things like baseball bats still show correctly but windscreen glass/canteens/woodpiles etc etc are white.

Did you change skin after finding them? As this gives you a new unit, you wont be in the group anymore.

Actually, it only spawns in heli crashes, and castles. ;D


Yes, I guess. The problem is that the wrecks that fuck the Balota base up are the ones that spawns from the DayZ code. Also, removing most of the wrecks at NWAF will just leave an empty base. But I'll see what I can come up with.

Of course I did. Some models seems to have problems loading, though. Like the camo tent and some of the cinder walls. You can build them and everything, but they'll just be invisible.

Haha, I've never seen this before. Unless it's that glitch before the texture loads, that happens sometimes when I just reload a game.

Sadly, I have no clue how to fix your problem. What's strange is that it's still loading some of the texture, looks like a GPU problem to me.

HA! We got the same GPU, but mine isn't the mobile version, HIGH FIVEEEEE *Senior Chang voice*

It might be your GPU, this is obviously really bad news if so. But I don't know what else it would be. Does your PC get really heated when you play ArmA?

I'll keep my eye open for this. I haven't seen it yet, but you never know.

And hopefully it isn't your GPU.

WAIT, if you move to the other side of the glitched item, would the "glitchy" part move? Because if so, it could be your GPU, if it has problems loading the glare, or something.

yeah good old Acer Aspire 5741G laptop lol! God yeah it gets heated, It lives on a cooling pad lol. The texture glitch does move as I move around the object, but only gets worse...so the entire item is white.
I grabbed that screenshot because it showed what I was on about best. so far all regular DayZ items are white, but all the Epoch stuff and Breaking Point stuff such as the empty canned food, weapons + ammo, nails etc. are fine in full colour.

Hmmmmm, strange. Well, the thing is that the texture loads, it's just an effect that is glitching out for some reason. My best guess would still be the GPU.

I think the shining effect is what's not working properly for you, hence only some objects are glitched, and the glitched part moves.

If that doesn't fix, I actually got no clue what it is. But it could also be old drivers, did you try updating your graphics card?

I would like to thank you for wonderfull dayz u made for us. I have some bugs like survivors can't join me or saves are broken sometimes and i can't reload them. But still for me it's the best dayz mod.

What maps i woild like to see? Maybe Taviana or Fallujah added to Podagorsk or Chernarus and beeing able to move from these maps. If this is possible of course.

Good idea. As for the map I think a DayZ one would suit the zombie apocalypse environment more as things should look like a mess in my book. Something of a fair size, bigger than say Podagorsk and one that hasn't been used much maybe.

One other thing, although it's a big thing and I don't know how much others would want it or if it would be too time consuming to do...I'd love to see the bandits replaced with some sort of organised force. Maybe they're there trying to clean up the place (zombies, the player and friendly AI included) and wearing military hazmat outfits for example, who have fully working car and heli patrols and who patrol on foot in groups and have their own bases etc.

Well, if you could some how convert arma 3's altis map to arma 2 i would kiss you... but i doubt that is possible so i choose namalsk.
