Putt @brakingpoint folder in arma 2 oa root folder then all what is inside missions folder add to your missions folder after that create new shortcut and add -mod=@brakingpoint in launchoptions.

I'd hold off for the moment unless you know what folders and files go where. The folders within the main zip file won't install automatically into the right place. Hopefully Above will sort the folder order out in it and combine the 2.8c update into it too.

* When you open the main zipped file you get folders Addons and Missions on the first level - the folders look like this - Addons\@BreakingPointPodagorsk\Addons. All fine if you've done this all before of course but confusing for new peeps.

* Also, I'm trying out the Friendly AI mission for Podagorsk after adding the 2.8c update and started a new game using this. Both survivors and bandits were hostile towards me then some time later two bandits automatically joined me! This had some complications soon after when they both left my group of their own accord after I got into a vehicle and opened up on me :). I hadn't changed my skin at all from the one I spawned with.

This is a much more interesting map than Chernarus for all of this and a hell of a lot more action for sure - thanks a lot.

Well.. The instructions should make it really easy for everyone, assuming they can read.

Hmmmm, this could be a problem. Something that I found interesting was that the bandit joined you? That's pretty cool, it would be way cooler to set some bandit factions up, to were they have a chance to join you if you're a bandit. Obviously, most bandits fires at anything.

Either way, I'll perfect the AI as we progress. This was just an "almost good enough for a first release" kinda deal.

Podagorks looks good, but it's lacking stuff, too. I can't put the finger on it, but the map is not quite it. The spawns are one of the "problems", that ruin the experience for me.

Yes, I've always thought that there was something plainly odd about the place too...
A larger map overall would have been better I feel as it feels a bit squashed together, but there's no changing that now. Maybe it needs less buildings. I agree about there being too many things spawning, certainly AI wise too. Even with those changes I'm not sure it would feel too different...there's something big missing...hmm should it have been covered in snow originally maybe? Just throwing ideas out.

They do expend their ammunition rather quickly if you don't tell them to hold their fire. Plus they are terrible shots. Infinite ammo would definitely help, as resupplying them is fiddly as hell (they only ever take one magazine at a time, when you tell them to pick up a gun and/or pile of magazines).

The amount of AI spawning + vehicles are both just the same as Chernarus. It just appears more for some reason.

But you're right, there's something with Podagorsk, it's not the buildings either, in my opinion.

hello above, thanks for the new release some things i noticed, i know some if not all have been brought to your attention, but i figure i will list them , so your sure its not a install problem .
 1 only one ai can ride with you and if you get out of the vehicle before him you cannot get a option to get back into the vehicle until you tell him to get out.
 2 epoch building system, even on level ground everything is floating in the air, i believe in epoch it was the page up and page down keys.
 3 my inventory is very dark still, not a big deal.
Really that is all i found, can live with most, just wish the epoch placement could be added. I played for like six hours last night and the game performed the best it ever has, don't know what you did, but great work it runs very good.
I was reading some other posts, how hard would it be to put in the trader cities, gold bars and the smelting of objects?
 I was thinking that ok i gathered supplies, met up with some friendlies, went up north and built a base, now what to do? We need a couple big bandit camps with respawning ai for a end goal . Just a thought and what about putting this on the naft map and or tavi?
 
Anyways just want to say that i have always enjoyed your releases and will continue too , thanks for the hard work and time. I second that , i would love to be able to buy ya a beer .

Always appreciated, just to be honest here, though. I spent quite a fair amount of time on this, and I'm going to have a short vacation, in Chernarus. O_o

Well, depending on how I turn when building, AkA what direction I'm pointing, I can set stuff up close to perfectly. That being said, there are ways to build a fully functional house until I come up with better ideas.

Just to make it clear, I've done everything to launch the binds everytime you start the game, or load a save. They just wont work. So it's not just me ignoring the problem. I just have to come up with some other sollution.

What do you mean by this? I haven't heard about this one before. Unless you mean that when you open your inventory, the whole background goes black. This is caused by an addon in CoWarMod, if this is not your problem, then you'd have to elaborate. :)

I think it was the old building system. I know there are still right-click options. But the 50 million scripts for some crap that isn't even working, I think it did quite a job.

First off, the trader city. I wont add it to the main release. Possibly a side mission. And it wont be a prio for now.

About putting this on Napf or Taviana, that has actually been the plan for a while. I don't know when, though.

Hahahah, REALLY?! I tried dissasemble mine in a building, and the bike stayed there, yet still gave me my toolbox back. I'll have to try deploying one in a building now!

This has nothing to do with the AI, that's just what it does in singleplayer. I actually don't know why, but when/if I find out, I'll fix it.

Hmmm, this is one of the glitches I don't understand. Are you bad at driving? They might be scared. But on a serious note, I got no clue why this is. It does however remind me of a glitch on MP, where you randomly wouldn't be able to get in the vehicle. This gotta be something else, though.

I'm thinking about re-doing BreakingZero completely, and use a whole new code, and mission. That way I'll have full power of everything. Wich should increase the FPS a bit more, and even fix alot of un-useful bullshit.

Hi there, I just found a bug on the Epoch Building system, no idea if it's only me but when you Save, Quit game, then Load save game, it wont let you Craft anything anymore, you cant even unpack the "pack of plywood" or craft lumber, or arrows or anything related to crafting, pretty much the same as the AI's when you load from a save game, they just stand around doing nothing.

That's strange, I have none of these problems (assuming you're not talking about friendly AI).

SOME of the bandits will randomly just stand and do fuck all, but that's related to something else, that I haven't cracked yet. :(

I didn't think it was a part of 1.8, so I didn't even bother at first. But hey, now we got a working regen system + UI. Meaning your food will regen over time. (You can still eat 10 stakes after each other, and get the same amount of blood as the regular food regen, it will just take longer).
