You need to download BreakingPoint 3.1976, Breaking Point update and Breaking Point update 1.4 Extract the folder @BreakingPointSP from the 3.1976 to your Arma2 directory. Extract the Addons folder from Breaking point update and merge with the Addons folder in @breakingPointSP.. Extract the Addons folder from Breaking Point 1.4 and merge with the Addons folder in the @BreakingPointSP folder. Open the Missions folder in Breaking 1.4 update and choose your desired mission(s) and move them to the Missions folder in your Arma 2 Directory (NOT the MP Missions folder). Find the Beta Patch update Launcher in your Arma 2 directory and send to desktop. Right click your new desktop Launch icon and add to the target -mod=@BreakingPointSp It Should read something like this: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -skipintro -mod=@BreakingPointSP Start the game. In the top right corner it should tell you what expansions you are running like Beta. BreakingPointSP and Expansion. Enjoy (hopefully!) :) |

Haha, yep. The AK's would mean nothing to me without JSRS. Straight up. |
Nice. I'm a complete sucker for the AG-3K CCO at present. As noisy as a DMR/M14 it's a real beast and pull's in the crowd's like a pro but I love it. The dotsight has a green hue to it and it's just look's downright brutal in my hands. I wouldn't want to meet me on a dark night lol, 'specially whilst I'm rocking that balaclava hahaha! |

Ha! I actually haven't tried that gun, I would never mind me one DMR, though. Also, I'm actually unlocking 1.7.7, mid-updating BreakingPoint. When I/we unlock 1.7.7, would you want that for BreakingPoint? (The official mod will not use 1.7.7 according to the head dev (Deathlyrage)). |
You'll have to excuse my ignorance but what exactly would 1.7.7 bring to the table as far as the BPSP mod is concerned? I really have not been keeping upto date with current events...although I can mostly blame you for that 'cos I can't stop playing the mod |

Oh yes, R3F is a huge topic nowadays... I'm looking into building, now. As compensation. You will be able to build stuff like... Everything from buckets to outhouses. It wont be super many items. But there will be more of them. I will obviously look into R3F too, but it actually looks dark. And about the Napf release, something I haven't leaked yet. But it will have sharks, and they will try to eat you. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10272 |
Hehe, nice. |

Hehehe...sharks. I've always thought it odd in DayZ that you can get a boat and you can hunt but you cannot fish...the ability to craft a fishing rod in order to go fishing out at sea or around the ponds and lakes was always something I wanted. Plus I always felt that there should have been more dangerous animals to encounter such as bears, wolves and aggressive wild boars out in the forests, especially as usually the zombies steer clear/don't normally spawn in the forests. For me it's about immersion, survival and a spot of role play as much as killing zombies and bandits.
I wouldn't fancy my chances against a shark though, as you don't exactly swim like Michael Phelps in Arma/DayZ hahahaha! And the ability to craft more items...A definite YES! Especially an outside loo....I want somewhere I can use all this bogroll I've been stocking up on :D |

Ha, having more dangerous animals in the woods would be mint. It's a shame there's not much support for it. Btw, I'll add a shack to the building thingy, and then some smaller barricade objects. Small and big. As I said, though. Not to many. I'm just grabbing the best stuff. :L |

You get what you need, the exact amount of materials. NOT more of anything. Just the stuff you need, put additional ingredients in your backpack or on the floor. And then just rightclick one of them (sandbags, traps, wire, wood etc etc). Apparantly BreakingPoint got their own building scripts too. So there's more stuff to build than what I added. |
Amazing update, the problem with Bandits no longer spawning after some time is now solved for me.
|
@above in the next update is there any chance of being able to drag dead bodies like A.I and animals?

As a little side note to that I would not right click on sandbags when crafting stuff, unless of course you're making sandbags. What I mean is if you want to build a watch tower and it takes 1 sandbag, 2 wire fence kits, 2 tanks traps and 2 woodpiles I'd right click the tank traps or wire fence kits as I find right clicking the sandbags 99% of the time just results in your guy stooping over and then doing precisely nothing. Also if you don't know already you can find a lot of crafting recipes HERE Good luck as it can be rather clunky and annoying when trying to place objects EXACTLY where you want them but I find it a lot of fun and adds a lot of depth to the DayZ gameplay other than just a-lootin' and a-killin'. |
