Hells yes.
But if it means a new dayz_code, I'd like that custom one with Survivalist 80 slots and huey with near unlimited slots and the default Chernarus/BreakingPoint weather system :p

also me would like to see some expended inventory in further updates. Backpacks in general, and in vehicles/helis too. Dont need to be close to unlimited space - i fear that would make unnecessery any kind of base or camp,logistics, and decisions of priority, and also the for me verry nice sounding option to build ammo-boxes with expended  inventory wouldn't be used - but yes i think bigger inventorys would make the sp-gameplay better.

take skins from other dead player i have seen on a MP-server. Nice feature, if it dont make to much work i would may use it sometimes. That also should reactivate the bandits-spawn-trigger right?

ok so i installed JSRS, but i notice when im in third person, the sounds dont sound differnet with the M240. when i go first person, again it doesnt sound much different, only notable different is the loud *click* after each round fired.

EDIT: if i launch through steam do i have to add any additional launch parameters?

The dogs currently don't work for singleplayer. I'll most likely have to rewrite parts of it.

But all the mission currently got AI.

I'll make more missions when I update, and a list of what exacly you can expect.

Taking the skin wont, unless it gives you a new unit. Just like when you change skin.

Now that we're talking taking clothes off AI's and stuff, i'd love to see some (purely for visual) gasmasks maybe, or Tactical Goggles? (Perhaps the Goggles could be used for eye protection against Grenade-Splinters?

Did you also download, or already have, CBA? you need CBA to run JSRS. You can get that HERE

Your Launch parameters should read something like this (after all the beta expansion stuff):

-mod=@BreakingPointSP;@CBA_CO;@JSRS

I'd love to make gasmasks. But it would require 3D modelling skills that I don't have atm.

I think that error comes up because its something to do with the beta patch expansion. Hmmm, I don't use Steam to launch Arma/Dayz so you'll have to bear with me, unless a fellow steam/JSRS user would care to jump in.

These were my steps...

1. unpacked CBA download into Arma 2 directory creating a folder called @CBA_CO.
2. Unpacked JSRS download in Arma 2 directory creating a folder called @JSRS  - NOTE: the file unpacked from the download will actually read @JSRS1.5 - I removed the '1.5' from my filename.

So in my Arma 2 directory I have these files, plus all the arma files naturally:

@BreakingPointSP
@CBA_CO
@JSRS

I create a new desktop launcher from the beta patch launcher that's in the directory by sending a copy to my desktop.

I then changer the target to read:

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -skipintro -mod=@BreakingPointSP;@CBA_CO;@JSRS

Obviously yours will read slightly different due to steam.

It's super important that your launch paremeters are written as exactly the same as the folders that Arma is looking to launch so @JSRS must be @JSRS and not @JSRS1.5 or whatever.

Sorry if any of this comes across as condescending or it's stuff you already know, its just always hard to help someone when you can't see whats on their screen or what they have done.

When Arma/Dayz loads up to the menu do you also get the icons and stuff telling you what is exactly is running? You should have some colourful icons for CBA and JSRS down in the left hand corner and top right should read what stuff has loaded in ie BreakingPointSP, Beta, Expansion, CBA, JSRS.

Also if you're going to go into the Armoury to test I highly suggest testing a M107.

That had one of the most distinctive gunshots in Arma/DayZ. You'd definitely know the old M107 weapon report because it was just so filthy and loud. The JSRS mod totally change's that so if you know the old sound and hear something completely different you'll know for sure JSRS is working :)

EDIT: Also get yourself inside a building and shoot. JSRS has a very, very distinctive echo when shooting indoors.

EDDITTY EDIT: Lol, if you're not sure about the M107 gunshot sound grab a Cheytac M200 Intervention. That weapon still use's the old M107 weapon report for its soundfile.

Don't forget to check out some of the optional JSRS soundfiles. I personally use Creepy forest because its gives a really cool ambient vibe at night and I use Disable Pain and Hurt sounds because I find those somewhat annoying ingame. There's also a bunch of alternative weapons sounds too.You can also disable/enable other stuff should you so desire eg the indoor weapon noises.

I hope you enjoy it, I really found it made the game so much more immersive and fun to play.

hey man, I enjoy your breaking point mod but I have one problem for some reason I get really bad lags when I play the game and I was just wondering if you could help. im thinking it has somthng to do with zombie spawns or something but I have no clue how to fix it help.!

whats the lag like when you play online? it could be because when you play online the loading of loot and everything is done server side, but on the SP mod its all on your comp.
