Yeah, they didn't change that much in 1.8, really. More performance fixes and so on. |

can anyone please help me... i did everything it said in the video but it comes up with an error when starting up the game and it says "AddedTankMovementOrderDirectionMarkers_Visuals_C_PvPscence" "requires addon "A_Crane_02" and then when i click ok it loads the game up and then comes up with another error then after i close that it only shows the "Multiplayer" button and no the single player button... Please help meee! :c

Hi fellas!
Here comes the changelog for the upcoming update : - All the changes from dayz 1.8.0.3, obviously. - The helicrash wrecks will spawn properly. - I made some changes to the helis patrols; they will spawn only once per trigger from now on (this is to prevent them from being too numerous). They'll also have unlimited fuel so that they don't land (and wait to be found) at some point. - The journal will properly display how many days you survived. I'm still testing some stuff; I might also change the way some bandits react to zombies, especially up north : they would only shoot at them if they are too close, and thus focus on the player and other survivors. It would be a good compromise between the 'regular' and the 'bandit' editions... Lemme know what you think of it! Cheers! |

I missed this mod for a quite long time, now i'm pretty much on board again :D The upcoming update gave me a heart attack ! reading that we will get te chance finally to use the 1.8 features is a great news ! I welcome those updates with open arms :D The Heli patrols update is perfect-----at least for me----, we need them to stay up for pretty much all the time ! unless we shot them down :> The variation between the two types of bandits is a great idea ! Haleks.....you can do it if you want, i think that it's gonna give us a much greater challenge on surviving. Peace folks ! |

I got this successfully (and properly) installed today and have been enjoying the mod. Very impressed. Things I'd like to see:
A cheat menu. Perhaps I missed it or just know how to access it if it's there. Time of day setting (I prefer to play in daylight). Anyway, I really like Factions. AI helicopter patrols FTW. |

I'll try to re-upload it tomorrow. It's the best solution I could come up with - it might be changed or modified later. - Changed helis patrol spawn process (no more freezes). - Now using the original DayZMod script to spawn wild zeds, rather than the custom one. - Infected camps should now spawn properly (to be tested). I might upload it tomorrow, but I can't guarantee it : I didn't have time to test everything I wanted. If not, it should be ready for less than a couple of weeks. |

Your notes for the upcoming patch look promising. Must say I've been having great fun with your mod. I think is is just about the closest to my 'ideal' version of DaiZy. I love the cut scenes at the main menu, too. I am a bit nervous about updating, though, since I now got everything working extremely smoothly (no error messages, no crashes, no glitches). Your work is appreciated. Will you be doing anything with the new DayZ Standalone? I'm really curious to see if you or any of your fellow modders here might be able to offer up an unofficial SP version. |

Sadly I'm gonna postpone the update a bit. I got something up & running - except for one major annoyance : for some reason it's nearly impossible to shake off those zeds once they spotted you. I don't think it's by design, most likely a glitch : they've changed the LOS check system for agroing zeds, maybe it's related. Anyway, I'll be back at it after Christmas and will try to fix it ASAP. Meanwhile, merry Chirstmas to everyone! ;) |
