Excelent! Just installed and had my first life wasted! I woke up at Cerno outskirt and imedietly run into town when I encountered two survivors one ordinal and one hero like. They shoot zombies like mad so I waited a bit in cover and killed ordinary one after he cleared place from zeds and then hired hero one, looted bit cerno and then betrayed hero and picked his stuff headed to north of cerno where is living blocks with hospital and there my destiny got me. Survivor got me with few shots.
I didn't saw any bugs yet. Just nickpicking: when I teamed hero he still had context menu to join. Will be nice it will replace with split up option to be able to release him from team instead kill him.
I thinking about idea how to proxy zed damage to ai survivors as this two was basically swarmed in swarm of zeds around and shoot. I know AI dosent run stats simulation of dayz health system like player and maybe you can try do this: run little script agent with do loop until alive for each ai survivor and inside check if any zed is within lets say 2m from him for let say 10 seconds. If yes setDamage 1 and kill him. If he manage to kill zeds inside this perimeter then reset timer to 0 so any possible new zed in perimeter can start timer again. I think this can be working proxy to zed do not attack AI survivors as I saw they run towards them into close combat range so well now. Just idea and maybe stupid.

An option to dismiss the survivors from your team should be doable - I'll look into it. Same goes for the "recruit" option : it shouldn't be too hard to have it removed once the AI is in your team - I never spent much time on it, but after a year at modding Arma2/DayZ, I'm pretty sure I can manage to make it work!
As for the "zeds vs AI" matter, something definitely needs to be done; your method is not bad - and I think I could change a few things in the zeds behaviour to make them play the attack animation if they're close to any unit. I'll think about it; this issue has been annoying me more and more lately - it is the last big problem with DaiZy right now. It would be nice indeed to work around it!
