It's not restarting a new game, it's respawning you in the same game - you should still be able to bring up the pause menu once respawned and revert to the previous save if you want to. Does your game freeze often when it happens though? I might disable this feature until I sort it out. |

Actually you know, scrap what I said, it's not THAT hard to fill up the Huey enough to fly around. It's not like I need fuel for a 2 hour mission. Maybe you could make the bandit edition true to the name and double the amount of bandits(and survivors) that spawn all together. I should really learn some ArmA2 modding so I can tailor the experience to my needs. I'm ok with having Zeds around, I can just make them walkers instead of runners. But I love hunting bandits and survivors, so I'd really like more of the conflicts that arise when I find groups of bandits or survivors. Btw you already have a CJ130 that spawns at the NWAF, could you maybe add some other Arma2 air vehicles? Like a Merlin or some other kind of attacc chopper. That'd be so cool :P Just a suggestion, I'm not wild for it or anything. Generally Factions is perfect as it is right now, except I want more things to kill! I'm blood-thirsty!!!!@-@ |

No really, I have a thing for video game violence, but I'm in reality a totally balanced and peace loving person. >=3 But yea, Arma2 has that awesome feeling, when you get shot at and you only hear the bullets crackle and instantly fall to the ground and crawl to cover. That mixed with a post-apoc scenario and the survival aspect is just heaps of fun. |

I was actually thinking about doing something like that for the BAF mission, since it is supposed to take place in the early days of the crisis. I really would like to add some civil war ambiance to that mission - it's the reason why I was messing around with AEG at one point : I wanted to add street lights back, and more driveable vehicles to emulate the fact that the crisis was just beginning (meaning more alive people, more panick, more gunfights). Just some ideas I'm messing with; I'll consider the possible changes to make for the bandit edition ;) EDIT : Doh! Found out that, somehow, the 1.7.7 code breaks the BAF mission... T_T' |

Damn... I will disable the respawn then... And yes, there was a glitch with the tents, it is already fixed for the upcoming update - I'm only waiting on the 1.7.7 hotfix to include the latest fixes before updating. And right now, the cheats menu isn't available - I wanted to change a few things. Factions v2.4 will however include optionnals mission files with the cheats. I just have to finish them and run some tests; the update should be ready this week. EDIT : meanwhile you can install kron' support call : it will allow to spawn pretty much everything. |

I've fixed the combat roll not working after resuming!
And I think I can do the same for the journal, so that we can bring it up by pressing 'lock scroll' rather than opening the utilities menu! EDIT : I've also reduced the chances to be infected when hit by a Zed - it is clearly overdone currently. |

Juste like mp5lng, it's freezing on the "Loading" screen after I die. An Alt-F4 will force it to shutdown with a few seconds delay. Not a big deal though.
This is with Support Call, Lost Key and Cowarmod all loaded. |
This is interesting. Above had included Haleks respawn script by accident in his Napf release and it worked there. Albeit it broke the self-bloodbag script upon respawning. |

Same here. I don't have Support Call or Lost Key but have CBA, CoWar and JSRS loaded. After Alt-Tab to desktop and then re-entering the game, it managed to load the Character Selection Screen. For me, it seemed like it froze on 'Loading' and an Alt-Tab to desktop/reenter managed to get it going again. All in all though, not much to complain. Good work Haleks. |

This is just a normal DayZ question: Isn't it possible to hide in fir trees any more? In older DayZ versions it was possible to go into a fir tree and the Zeds dint attack me then...
