Helicrash can't spawn next to the player, the minimum distance is set to 1000 meters since v1.2.
What version does it say in-game (in the scenario menu)? Also, did you restarted a new game after updating?

EDIT : and yes, you can find vehicles; I found a blue ural within 30 mins down south ;)

Okay, so, it seems for me the all the UI's dont deplete and also, whenever I try to self bloodbag myself, its red and always says im in conbat and cannot do it?

The text is red, but it works if you click on it, unless you are in combat (enemy nearby).

hy,

did you use cheats?

i noticed the same problem after using some cheats. may that is causing the teleport cheat, i'm not sure. without cheating the bloodbag works fine for me until now.

Didn't have any trouble with the bloodbag script so far, but on the other hand I try not to use any cheats.
As for the food & drink icons, there 're multiple reasons why they wouldn't deplete : if you use the teleport cheat from the cheat menu, or try to change skin with Kronzky Support Call, they'll be broken. Also, they won't deplete when inside a vehicle.
BTW, I think I'll make a "redux" cheat menu for the next update... Should have done it already since some options are broken >_<

A thing I saw: I am not able anymore to open the backpack of squad AI: I used to do that to give ammo to the poor guys. Is it something new?

EDIT: it is some kind of bug because I checked with the Map->Unit and the AI has a backpack, but not visible and not accessible

Also, something unclear to me - bandits spawn:

1) endlessly around fixed spawn points
2) once around fixed spawn points (but they can be triggered to re-spawn by changing skin)
or?

I am trying to understand how this happen.

I think it is v042? But can't be sure as i am new. Yes i started a new game, self blood bags are working great thou. Ok i will keep my searching for a car, are there any helicopters and planes in the game? When the chopper chrash site spawned it was night and i had N/V goggles on. the flames lit up when i was about 10m away?

v042 is one the original versions of DaiZy; but since you have the bloodbag working I guess you've the latest of Factions. Maybe you experienced a graphic glitch with NVG? Last time I checked, I was spotting helicrashes from afar, by seeing some smoke in the landscape...
Tell me if it happens again, but I'm pretty sure they're fixed (if anyone can confirm)...

And you should be able to find planes or helis; but it's random though : I once found an AC130 at NW airfield and it was a one time in five.

I've identified the script responsible for the UI glitch and it's now 100% fixed! Looks like it was a leftover from the RSPB missions.
A minor issue, but it has been annoying me for a long time :/
I've made the update so you don't need to restart another game this time.

I've also removed the teleport cheat; but you will still have it if you don't restart.

Oh, and I've deleted a couple of unused scripts, so tell me if you've any errors - eventhough I didn't have any when testing.

@Above : I've modified the reloadHUD.sqf, you can just overwrite yours if you want to fix it in your mission :D

You could try to get somr AI loadout editing script, or get an AI re-arming script.

As Ray suggested, CoWarMod is the better solution - I don't even care anymore about giving them ammo.
It shouldn't interfere with the UI nor the sounds, make sure you installed it properly.

Otherwise, the better, quikest solution is to have your squad mount in a vehicle, then open your map and go to the 'units' section. You'll have the 'gear' option for every one of them and should be able to manage their inventory. This way you can use the vehicle's trunk to exchange things easily.

EDIT : if you have troubles with CoWarMod, you can try to use the re-arm script only. Just drop it in the Addons folder of DaiZy Factions. Look for this one : asr_ai_sys_airearming.pbo

hey ho,

to access the inventory of Team-AI i found out one way. its a bit... ok, you have to accustom yourself, but with a bit of routine it works fine ^^

1st you get with your team to a place where are no dead bodys or items on the ground or cars near... nothing that can hold or holds items. if a lot of dead bodys around delete them with cheat or better walk to a clean place.
(If not, the unit after getting the "equip-order" walks to the nearest "container" also if it's not the one you want he goes to.)

2nd walk with your squad close to the item/itemcontainer you want to equip your unit with, you mark the unit you want to change the inventory (f-buttons f2,f3...)

3rd you press 6 (opens action - in action-menu) and than that many times 0 until you find "equipment" and klick on it in.

4th the unit should walk to the nearest equipmend-container (for me its many times my own car or the ural which holds my ammo and armor.) The unit will automaticly access to the equipment and it opens its gear-menu. Also works if the are sitting inside the vehicle which holds the equipment.

I never got problems to access to backpacks of team-survivors, also i remember i could acces if they dont are visible cause of their skin, but i can't try it out now to be sure, have no survivor at the moment in my team. But without any special script they wont use anything out of their backpack, so its like an additional inventory for the player. With cowarmod/rearm-script, as haleks said, they pick up ammo and weapons from the ground. but it seems they dont reaload from backpack which is i was testing, at least for me it doesnt work.

///Edit, i prefer they dont access to their backpacks so i use one teammate to store my food, other to store my medicine and that stuff and so on...

And... careful if you use rearmscript and give your mate a good weapon, if he runs out of ammo it's possible he will change it for the next weapon he can find, so he may drops a rare sniper to get a 2 barrel shotgun...
