So, would it be possible to add dogs, combat roll and the player monitor thing? Also, I would like to edit the loot the ai spawn, how would I go around doing this?

So I have been playing this for a while with rMod, since I am unable to play standard DayZ due to lag, and my friend became interested in this, so we attempted to set it up for him too. We both followed the set of instructions to the letter, however mine works whereas his pops-up with an error on startup then crashes, and he is now also unable to even play his Operation Arrowhead game, do any of you know what the problem is? A solution would be greatly appreciated,

If he is using steam, I would suggest verifying the integrity of the game. If not, I guess he would have to reinstall it :/

Having the exact error message would help, also.

Anyway, thanks to Above we now have a better working GUI (you were right dude : a couple of lines needed to be de-selected) - no more unwanted food & drink icons popping up on resuming!
The white cross is still there though - I've yet to identify the script calling those icons, but it's already an improvement.

I've updated the dayz_code; you guys can re-download and replace it - it won't screw up your saves ;)

Do you mean you deselected it in RscTitles? 'Cause I'm afraid doing so will keep it from flashing when the player bleeds; I didn't try though...

Hahaha, I deselected al of'em. And I got no borders now. I gotta say, it looks pretty sick.

And deselecting "blabla bleeding" shoud work. ;o

EDIT : Just tried to edit the bleeding line; as I thought the cross doesn't appear anymore when the player is bleeding :/
I'll try to edit the hud sequence tomorrow.

The features you're asking for are currently broken in SP. Until we have it fixed, I suggest trying the SMK animation mod for the combat roll - I'll look into the dog issue at some point.

And if you want to change the AI gear, you'll have to edit those files : fnc_unitBackpack, fnc_unitRifles,
fnc_banditLoot, & fnc_genericLoot. You'll find them in your mission file : DaiZyFactions.chernarus\scripts\compile folder.

Btw, have you ever played this map: 'Schwemiltz Map' with MBG buildings? Its
superb and I think would make a great choice if you were to ever consider
porting this great mod of yours to a new survival map to explore ;)
Do you have a link? I googled it and didn't find much :/

Have you ever though about adding survivor(or bandit) run shacks into the
game, for example rare road side villages/farm house etc (small) that have
just either bandits or survivors running it? (instead of Zeds). In my head
the villages would be heavily barricaded/customized to fit a type of bases
players currently create online to fortify themselves, tyres, sand bags,
wirefences etc?

The trouble is that the dayz code is set so that certain types of building
spawn zombies; AFAIK there's no way to prevent them from spawning in
specific locations - unless adding custom villages with custom buildings.
But that's beyond my knowledge right now, I think Above & Fedus are more
experienced regarding this.

Also guys, some of you reported some framerate drop when recruiting
survivors. For some reason it's not noticeable on my install, but I think I
might have fixed it with the latest update; please let me know ;)

Not really :(
I did have a look at some script, but it's a bit complicated and it'll need some tweaks for SP. And it's not the easiest thing to test.
I think I'll first fix/add a few things for Factions and then work on this, since I feel it's gonna be time consuming.
But... if you want to make it work for SP, be my guest! ^^

Looks like it's an A2 file, it's supposed to be located in air2.pbo. Does your friend have that pbo in his Addons folder? Does he own a retail copy or is it a Steam version of A2 & OA?

EDIT : About your friend's trouble, looks like someone else had this issue and fixed it. Hope it helps.

hey guys,

i dont know if that was the case before the bloodpackupdate too or if this also is another of my cowarmod probs i have which is very possible. i just started a new game today after updating, and after i got shot in my car i left it and at the last second i managed to bandage myself and took 2 bloodpack after that to get full blood again before hunting down that bandit who shot me. but i didn't stop to cry around every 2 seconds and the screen lighten up red also all 2 seconds (in 1st person mode). So i took painkillers, and after that morphium, but nothing helped. U know what i may do wrong? I fear i have to change the cowarmod-addons i have, or at least take some of them out, they'r to many to not lose overfiew which one may causes trouble.

May you guys who dont have trouble with cowarmod could tell me which addons you have active?

///Edit: i got literaly threwn out of the car and landed half under it, i got back on the backseat and left the car again to be beside it. may this was causing it?
It says "still bleeding" and i took some of the bandages now and it wont get better. i also had the same problem yesterday (i think) when i had a broken leg, that after curing with morphium broke again and again...

I am playing with rMod only and the self-bloodbag works. It requires some time to act (the animation is played a few times) and at the end you get a message saying "you self-administered a blood bag" or something like that.

I tried to get cowarmod working without success: when I load it I get a messed up inventory menu and the hatchet does not work anymore due to lag between the sound and the action.

Has anyone got a working cowarmod lite and daizy?

for me the bloodpack works nice too. dont wanted it sounds otherwise.

i tied to reduce the addons i had installed with the cowarmod to see if i find out which work and which not. if i know more it tell you.

But, about CoWarMod, I'll post a list of the files I'm running; I removed some pbo and have zero conflict so far.
