wow those new base building editor looks sweet, is there a easy way to just install it to any map, i am lost when it comes to changing code.

It's compatible with every DayZ map, but I'm afraid you'll have to change some pieces of code in various files... Daimyo has written a complete tutorial on GitHub, if you want to have a look. Anyway, I'm checking if there isn't any other bugs than the missing pictures; I'll most likely upload a new mission file with the updated script tomorrow. EDIT : Building update post-poned guys... Found some annoying issues - and it doesn't work when resuming a save (unless changing skin, but that's a bit game-breaking if you've a squad). I saw a lot of complains on opendayz forums, it looks like the author ain't providing any support... I'll keep digging, but I will stick to the current version for now. That thing gave me one of a headache >_< |

Keep getting "you can not play/edit this mission, it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernarus" when i load the SP game
Can anyone help me? I have been trying for days and don't know what I am doing wrong with the target line do i just add -mod=@DaiZyFACTIONS;@rMod or do i need to remove the "no splash" then put it in? I have tried both but i just keep getting the error message |
Just copy the Addons folder from your Arma 2 directory into your OA folder. |

I've just added Krixes' Self Bloodbag script to the mission file; just redownload & replace the mission. Sorry but you'll have to restart another game... I just tried it and it works nice; looks like you have a good chance to get sick though ;) I've also fixed some mispelling in the Cheat menu : the Antibiotic cheat now works fine! |
...and I'm just re-downloading! Nice one! Without it sounding too obvious perhaps, but I take it you can now self-administer blood bags?
Btw, have you ever played this map: 'Schwemiltz Map' with MBG buildings? Its superb and I think would make a great choice if you were to ever consider porting this great mod of yours to a new survival map to explore ;) Even if you play ARMA2 reg SP - please give it a try Haleks! Have you ever though about adding survivor(or bandit) run shacks into the game, for example rare road side villages/farm house etc (small) that have just either bandits or survivors running it? (instead of Zeds). In my head the villages would be heavily barricaded/customized to fit a type of bases players currently create online to fortify themselves, tyres, sand bags, wirefences etc? Just an idea Thirsty

Thanks got it working now but double tapping zero does not bring up the cheat menu?

Thanks a lot dude! Much appreciated ;) (Didn't see about Zero update, going to download right now! :D ) Do you have a link? I googled it and didn't find much :/ The trouble is that the dayz code is set so that certain types of building spawn zombies; AFAIK there's no way to prevent them from spawning in specific locations - unless adding custom villages with custom buildings. But that's beyond my knowledge right now, I think Above & Fedus are more experienced regarding this. Also guys, some of you reported some framerate drop when recruiting survivors. For some reason it's not noticeable on my install, but I think I might have fixed it with the latest update; please let me know ;) |

This would be great running in Arma 3 engine I guess it'll sooner rather than later. |

I saw a couple of videos lately, and it seems that the DayZ mod will be available for A3 way sooner than the SA... I wonder if they were expecting this at BIS. (I know I wasn't ^^) |

I knew A3 DayZ would out-release SA. But that's not why I came here, I came here to tell you what I've noticed about the UI after reload. Food etc, in fact, everything except from what glitches on re-load has the "text=" deselected. It might sound strange now, but look in RSCtitles and you'll see what I'm talking about. I've not tried anything yet. Because I'm fixing something else. But I hope this is what you've been looking for. Best regards, Above. |

Ok, after a while i found out how i spawn NVgoogles and Binoculars. Onley cheat used was changing my skin to the Old Bandit Skin with the 001 cheat ingame-cheat-menu. Then i make one swing with my knife, and i got Binoculars and NV googles in the right slot. So there must be a "bug" with the knife, or with the Old Bandit Skin - at least the cheatet one, i dont know if it could be found. I didn't tryed out if this works with other skins still. Greetings |

Indeed! At last the friggin' thing is usefull again ;) Ok; I'm not playing with those addons so I never noticed that - thanks for telling me. It must be an error in one of the mod scripts; wich means at least one of the CoWar mods is incompatible with DaiZy :/ I will have a look tonight and update the main post. |
