But even with these values, bandits are limited to cities and small towns vicinities; forest and large fields still feel empty, wich is not always the case in MP.
But adding more bandits will make quite a fair amount of them : I might set the triggers so they don't spawn each time.
Or add some single units, and just give them the patrol + loadout scripts.

I personally don't mind, but they did remove creds from the pictures on purpose. Wich is a tad dirty.
I mean, all they're proving is that scriptkiddies really does have 0 clue about code.

Its going to happen...But all in all you guys made it happen and screw the rest. I opened the code today and scratched my head and said Screw That lol ... I dont even play MP anymore as u guys made the game MUCH more enjoyable :) Keep up the good work and dont let the trolls keep you down.

EDIT: Googled other mods and found out there's this gender menu when you spawn, So, Now my problem is the menu doesn't shows up, Help anyone?

First time I hear of a missing gender menu :/
My guess is either you have a corrupted file or you're missing some. Double check your Beta patch and your DaiZy files. If you updated your beta manually, don't forget that the new .exe comes up with other updated folders/files.
Sorry, I wish I could be of more help - but this one is pretty much new to me.

Thanks! but I'm not asking for anything - I know they work fine (been playing/testing a lot this week-end).
I'm just informing you guys ;)

By the way, I might update this next week : I'll reduce spawn chances for most of the clothes, fix bandits inventory (I'm gonna be lazy and do the same as Above for his mission ^^'), fix the UI, remove the teleport feature (since I read somewhere it can mess up with the UI), and do some other things I forgot.
I'll also look at the combat roll; but it looks like it still won't work upon resuming...

There'll be some changes to the mission file, so you guys will most likely have to start a new game (again) - sorry, it's the way Arma saves games and it ain't much I can do about that :/

Hello All! I am having a little bit of trouble with Loki's Lost Key. The mod and everything is working fine, but when i enter Lost key to obtain weapons or vehicle nothing shows has anyone else run into this problem?

Hi there.

I've followed your installation instructions perfectly but for reasons I'm not sure about (I'm not used to modding Arma II), it doesn't appear to want to work for me.

My new shortcut that I made runs:
"D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@DaiZyFACTIONS

When I go to load it up I receive this error message:

I have been able to play DayZ 1.7.6.1 fine using Six and DayZ Commander.

Edit: I also verified Arma 2 in steam, and ran that to the menu and quit. Did the same for Arma 2: OA and again for the Arma 2: OA Beta. It downloaded only a few files. I tested connecting to a DayZ server using both DayZ Commander and Six but still get the error that I can't play/edit the map.

Edit 2: Okay... After hitting google hard, I found a few fixes for other similar errors. I basically copied the AddOns folder from the Arma 2 folder into the Arma 2 OA folder. It has now loaded and I'm in. I don't know if this is a common fix or not, but here it is and blimey I hope it was worth it! (I'm sure it totally will be)

Yeah Steam has been set to merge A2 and OA to run Combined Operations for DayZ - but you guys have to copy the Addons folder from A2 to OA if you want to run DaiZy (or if you have a box version of A2 and a Steam one for OA). I'll update the instructions since more and more people are reporting this issue.

EDIT : It's nice to read a complete and fully documented bug report once in a while! ^^

That's odd, will have a look at it.
Meanwhile you can also use Loki's lost key, or go find some survivors at the factory North of Elektro or in the industrial quarter in Cherno (They're the easiest to find).

Just wanted to say a big, big "Thanks!" - I am coming from the dayz world and I find daizy useful to experiment/training - shooting moving bandits is incredibly instructive and due to my dayz playstyle (lone wolf/hero) I tend to avoid contacts since nowadays in dayz everyone play KoS.

Some notes after a few hours of playing:

1. Changing skins means to loose the squad (others have remarked it)
2. Bandits are ... a tad too easy in terms of reaction time, especially when firing. Does this change by changing the difficulty level?
3. Loot spawn system seems different compared to 1.7.6.1 dayz: often I enter in a supermarket and it is 100% empty, so I have to turn around for 5 minutes and go back to find something
4. Can I start just like vanilla dayz (that is no weapons)? I imagine I have to change some sqf file but I do not know which one
5. Thirst/Hunger seems also different, in the sense the avatar needs to drink and eat more often compared to 1.7.6.1
6. I can't heal my AI comrades, is it supposed to be like that?
7. Firefights are nice, especially if there are more than one bandit involved
8. I usually engage enemies before the squad, especially beyond 100-150 m. They just look, even if they have weapons (e.g. assault rifles) capable to engage. Bandits are the opposite: they engage often too early.
9. The weapons I find on bandits are ... amazing to say the least. Good experience!

All in all this mod is really wonderful. It gives a lot of fun and it is a great exercise/learning tool. If the AI were more dangerous (maybe spawning always 2-3 bandits together or having them reacting quicker) it would be great.

I will try the latest map variant with bandits spawning around you.
