I have had no issues with the Heli addon... It will run on demand anytime I press the windows button... Only issue I have is the AI driver seams to have a mind of his own when we take fire and fly off target to I guess a safe area lol. But no even after a save or restart or respawn I have had no issues... I dont use the Coward mod however I just use the Heli addon direct from the Heli source and is not part of a larger addon.

Thanks alot Duke ...I to only use the "heli_extras" by its self...It sounds like you've played this alot and have returned to many saved games without a problem
So problem is with me...
i know i never entered the "heli_extras_script.Takistan" folder to the game as it said to enter it into YourProfile/Documents/Arma2OtherProfiles/YourProfileName/missions....but i dont have any mission folders there under the name i play this with....and anyway it says it used for test missions.

but anyway at least i know it should work thankyou

P.S as to you AI....thats maybe down to arma..as the AI are none to bright ...ive had them over shoot waypoints and head to nowhere without being shot at lol

I remember having problems too with the heli_extra; I'm not sure how I finally fixed it (was a long time ago) - I think I found an updated version on armaholic.

Got ai_heli_control_1.3 the latest...but good call .
restarted again but heli doesnt do all it should after about an hour of flying around trying everything...plus sometimes if i walk up to the heli as its hovering it stops me walking/moving..just gets me stuck..F%$ksake lol
might go for the CoWarmod now

Yeah, this can happen, mainly along the coast. I began working on it but I didn't have much time lately... :/

I'm rewriting the AI, gonna make it so that only 3-7 spawn per city. Because you don't really encounter that many players on a regular server, increase the range to 1000 so that you'll also have encounters in the woods. And last but not least, make the minimum spawnrange 200 or something. I'm also reducing their loot. They currently have 5 magazines. Why not 3? Because they're wasting alot of ammo. So I added 2 extra for them to waste, and whatever's left is yours. I'm also reducing food/drinks.

All works great till im 1hr 20 min to 1hr 30min into game ..then im just stuck no matter where i am ...cant move forward sidewards backwards...cant look in those directions either...but everything else still works ...i can still control heli ,stand up,crouch,prone,shoot,eat,drink etc..LOL strange

well ill give  CBA v0.2.0 a try then CoWarmod ( should i have CBA in editor or in my shortcut target line or both?)

maybe even try 1.7.6

Could someone help me? Everytime I go to play the mission it says I can't play because it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted :dayz_equip, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip, dayz_vehicles, zeroday. Idk what to do, I followed the directions but nothing seems to work.

Nystiles, what parameters are you launching the game with? Add the correct Parameters to the shortcut and that'll fix the issue.

I've got troubles with DaiZy working. i've done as instructions said but when i spawn i've got clear blank map and can't do anything, can't move. change camera. Anyone can help?

I fixed it. I was launching with @CBA_CO file and forgot to add it to the traget line, thanks for letting me know I was missing something.

Ok one last question, how do I get Loki's lost key to work? I put it in my addon folder in my arma 2OA directory and its not coming up in game.

also put it into ArmA 2 OA/Expansions/Addons folder, sometimes it helps. adding @lk to parameters wont work unless he has it in arma2oa/@lk/addons/.pbo

I think this is the best Chernarus releases so far...there was a whisper Haleks may try a wasteland mod later on
