Obviously the game is missing some files, if you're on Steam, then check the file cache. If any is missing then Steam will re-download. If not on steam, backup your addons and re-install the game. Or move any folder/file you messed up back where it was. Errors don't tend to appear without a reason. |

I had a quick look, and got it working ...sort of. I tried loading an old bike into a Ural, but for some reason it disappears in the process :/ And the "view vehicle content" thing doesn't work neither. I'll look at it further, but right now I'm struggling with some bugs I'd like to fix for the update. |

Hi Haleks,
Would that be possible to change the triggers and have survivors spawning around you wherever you go, just like bandits? Those survivors would not be part of the squad, just individual survivors going around. I would like to try the modification myself, but I would need some hint. Thanks a lot. Anubis |

Best option would be to modify the "doSomething_RandSurvivor" function from older releases and add new triggers to call that function. I can upload a new sqf file if you want, you would just have to add the triggers in the editor. |

Thanks a lot Haleks! If you can upload the sqf it would be great and then I can try to move on by myself (I am not new to programming but I did never do anything with sqf and pbo files, so any hint is welcome).

Hey Fellas!
Just a quick word to say that this is going to be updated soon. I've been postponing it for a while now, but I finally had some time to work on this and I'm quite happy with what I've done so far. I've fixed some annoying/minor glitches and created a "recruit" option for survivors : you'll now have to get close to them and activate a contextual action to have them join your squad. I'm still toying around with some paremeters, and will work on adding some helis patrol - expect the update within a couple of weeks max ;) |

Damn... Having those helis patrol is harder than I expected...
![]() Meanwhile I've also improved the helis crashes : they'll no longer spawn next to the player - meaning that their position will be a bit random, but on the other hand you'll be able to spot them from afar, just like MP. I think I will update this week and keep the helis patrol thing for later... Right now I only have the combat roll feature to fix plus a few minor things. I might also add some kinda respawn script for survivor AI's ;) |

Yes it does. This message means that you're not calling the dayz_factions file; your shortcut directory is most likely wrong. |
