Meanwhile, you can try what I said above and manually install an older patch (you should find plenty of tutorials if you don't know how to do it). Also, are you 100% it is a beta patch issue? The error you have is typical from shortcuts or bad mod folder structure problems. |

I've got the Beta Patch Launcher, and I copied, and pasted what I needed to, but It gave me the same Error MSG that I had at the beginning.

Bringing the last touches to the A3 project : removing the (annoying) pulsing red radial blur when wounded, tuning the fatigue system to be actually enjoyable, fixing the constantly popping-up "treat yourself" action - and getting rid of the Actions menu whenever possible.
Most consumables will be usable by simply double-clicking on them in the inventory, I also started with GUI edition and made a proper sleep menu. ;) crap quality pic : Lately the zombies have been improved a great deal : for instance, unlike the zeds in DayZ, mission makers won't have to script NPCs so that zeds can hear their gunshots. No matter if the AI is spawned, vanilla or modded, zombies will hear & see them. This mean you can add fully functionnal zombies to any mission with one single line of code. The mod will probably be released some time in August. |

So i'm in my base looking over the landscape, in night vision, and i see off in the distance what looks like a normal bandit walking slowly in a straight line, except his head was moving left to right randomly, is this a ghoul or weirdly behaving AI?
If it was not, then out of curiosity, do they look different than normal zeds in the sense that if i saw one i would go WTF IS THAT like the chick in Blair Witch did? LOLZ |
Most likely a glitch with Arma2 AI :/ Ghouls look and behave like humans - the only visual difference is their zombie face. Unless being close to it, the only way to know if you're facing a ghoul is to pay attention to how resistant he is. |

i have to ask you for another code thingy :-) is it possible to remove the trash from the streets? Where can i found the corresponding code lines? I´ve played DaiZyFactions before this and it was very useful to get rid of this trash in the streets especialy when an AI Survivor is set to drive a vehicle. It´s a shame btw. that the DaiZyFactions is broken in terms of loot and zombie Spawn issues. I loved this Enemy Car Patrol thing on DaizyFactions :-) So if you can help me with a hint to remove the trash from the streets in 2018 like in DaiZyFactions i´m happy atm :-) keep up the good work Dude Cheers DonMichael71 |
If you know how to edit pbo files, you can look into DaiZy Factions : the modification is in the optionnal mission file itself - look for a file called "location_stream" or something like that. Just repeat the same changes to the file located in your dayz_code (compiles folder) and it should be good. |

i´m not really familiar with this coding and scripting stuff. I have done this steps: 1 opening both mission files (DaiZyFactions and 2018) with pbo-Manager 2. Searched for a file called "stream_location2 found a file called "stream_locationFill.sqf" inside the "dayz_code compile folder" 3. i copy the file called "stream_locationFill.sqf" from DaizyFactions to the same location in the 2018 mission file 4. started with a new game 5. The Trash on the streets is still there 6. Atm i found no patroling enemy cars on the streets. 7. i got a crash to desktop after playing for about 45 minutes 8. i try a new game right now well i´m no coder or programmer, i´m a visual effects guy who did a lot of Modelling stuff with 3D Software called Cinema 4D :-) Programming stuff is a mystery for me :-) The Steps from 1 to 3 are they right? or have i missed something? Don't copy it in the mission file (you would need to change the compile location); just paste it directly into the dayz_code in the Addons folder. (@DaiZy2018>>Addons>>dayz_code>>compiles) If I'm correct (don't have the files right now), junk piles should be gone next time you start a new game. |

yeah i need help i did every thing the tutorial vid told me to do but when i launch i only have a multiplayer option i put the mission file in missions idk what i did wrong:/
