Ok I got it to work, but while playing i get a message saying missing ca_comunity bla blah..... then when I quit I cant play because when I hit resume It says im missing ca_comunty blah blah blah

okay so i wanted to DayZ online and when i tried i had to delete a whole bunch of files out of my addons folder and then i reinstalled the Daizy original + the 2 update's now when i try to play on chernarus i am stuck as a bird also it says i need addon "utes" what is this and how do i get it

I presume you do not play much ARMA 2...

Utes is a ARMA 2 map, the smallest I believe, and comes with the game in the main addon folder.

This means that you most likely deleted some files out of your ARMA 2 common file, all this means is that you need to re-install ARMA 2, nothing major.

This is why I tell people to make new mod folders, that are not used in MP.

It sounds like you've deleted files that you need. :/ I would probably reinstall my ArmA.

Yes, I've noticed this, too. Some AI helis are friendly, too. Wich kinda sucks. Anyways, I'll take a loot at the patrol script for them. Because it is kinda.. boring that they just hover.


I thought this was a delay before the patrol script kicked in (the AI units also stand still for a second before moving).

Im not sure why but I can only seen to change the colour of a map icon and not the icon itself. it should be up and down arrow keys to change the icon, but when I hit them nothing happens. would that be related to a certain keybind?

It could be, all though it shouldn't. What release are you using? I'll test that same release, and see if I might've forgotten/failed to unban the markers. The only release I'm 100% sure they work in, is Namalsk.


Also, I was just observing one of the SARGE hero squads, they actually move exacly like a player squad, slowly bit by bit, tree to tree. And also look around as they crouch run. That's awesome. Can't wait to see that behavior in the players group.

You mention the player's group - so they can join your group then? It would also be great if you can get them to take out zombies too like you mention for the next possible update.

They do not join you now, as far as I've seen. What I'm going to do, though, is add a humanity system for it. So that they have a chance to join you depending on your humanity.

As for them attacking zeds, they should already do this. My regular bandits (not SARGE) are killing zombies.

Sorry, I completely forgot to get back to you. I downloaded the 3.7 update to make sure I was using the exact same files.

And then gave it a spin, all my markers are unbanned. (I use arrow up/down).

That's great re the humanity system. I'll have to take another look at the AI in that case as the ones I've observed have simply been ignoring zeds so far - I think I'd like everything to try and take them out if they're an imminent threat maybe.

thank you that is what my problem was i dont know how i deleted any of my arma 2 files cause i never open my arma 2 folder i open the OA folder, yes i do play a lot of arma 2 just dont know a whole lot about it

Hey, I love this single player mod, it's the best one I've played yet.

Though I have three issues, two are annoying, one is bad.

The big issue, the bad one is this.

You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.ca_communityconfigurationproject_e

I get that every time I try to reload my single player. So every time I have to restart.

Second issue are the infected, they spot/hear me WAY too easily now. They are extremely sensitive, I cannot even crawl without five of them hearing me from several meters away, I don't know if this is normal or not, last time I played DayZ they were not like this.

Last, the bandits spawn WAY too much. It sounds like a war zone as I'm wondering around because there is constant gun fire, I'm always able to get geared up quickly by either killing one of them or finding tons of loot inside a single building.

I'm playing on Namalsk by the way, I don't know if the last two are supposed to be like that, but I'm hoping there is some way to change it, such as less loot, less AI, etc.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately your experience will not be the same as multi-player when it comes to the Bandits (They are just AI). Above is working on adding/has added SARGE AI so your experience should be better.

About the "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.ca_communityconfigurationproject_e" download this and it should fix it.

On a side note for above, i would like to create my own code that pulls away from the realm of "DayZ" so that its not compared to the multiplayer aspect of the mod but i lack the experience and if you wouldn't mind maybe you could teach me how to program in arma?
