You're not obligated to help anyone. :P And as you say, it is quite obvious. I would never require people to read 200 pages of comments, but if people don't even read the upper part of BOLD text on the main post, I rarely bother. However rude that might sound.

Hmmm i downloaded the ''Are you having graphical glitches?'' thing but it downloaded the ''BreakingZero Caribou 3.5.zip''... the visual glitch it stills here...

If that was meant to my reply to BossMann, in my defence, I get at least 1 post (at least) per day asking about something that is in bold, on the upper part of the main post. Text, that people HAVE to pass in order to download, or even read comments.

I will never expect people to read 200 pages of comments, but the main post is pretty hard to miss. And it's a common source of important information.

And if people don't like that, or me for that matter, I'm really sorry. But that's how I look at things, right now.

I know it's weird, but those sound files actually fixes the graphical glitches.

Just "install" the .exe to your desktop, and move the PBO files to your mod folder. If that doesn't work, I'll have to find another solution.

Also, just to make it clear, guys. I didn't say "It's not your obligation to help anyone", because I don't think you deserve help. I will always help as best as I can, but I prefer if people at least read the mainpost. Anything arguably unimportant is quoted, and easy to skip.

But he was clearly saying that he couldn't handle it anymore. So basically what I was saying, is that no one is forcing him.

Caribou does indeed look and play well (too many damn rocks for my liking mind) but as you say, the main problem with this and any other map at this time I feel is that they feel 'dead', but we've been saying this for a while now and you're moving forward on this front.

You're going in the right direction with trying to bring the AI to life more and a test server could prove useful too if there's enough people interested (as would a new site and forum but no one seems to have read the post about the premium stuff it seems grrr) and should it take off, a teamspeak/mumble server for everyone on it would be great too, but only if there's enough people to warrant bothering with these in the first place of course...

I still hold to the idea of some sort of semi intelligent controlling force in a few non destructible bases like they have on DayzRP for example, but that would require editing the maps, and even then, there's simply no substitute for real people at all.

1. Make a copy of the mission file and rename it to BreakingZero.jadegroove.pbo
2 .Then just add the Jade Groove mod folder to the start parameters [-mod=@BreakingZero;@jade]
3. Start your game and it should work.

Allthough I don't know what kind of buildings there are on Jade Groove, if there are the same buildings as on Chernarus, loot spawns and zombies should probably work.

I'll try it, Jade looks interesting.

*EDIT*
Everything is working (would be a surprise if not), loot spawns and zombies.



But I recommend using Loki's Lost Key in case you get a bad spawn or want to teleport/get a vehicle. I'll keep an eye out for vehicles and AI, allthough I know that AI should spawn.

Just put the userconfig folder in your ArmA 2 OA main directory. If you already have a userconfig folder, put the file from the ASR userconfig into your existing one.
