Hi Above kinda new to this but some loot dosnt spawn and i saw what you said about running into and setting it as not looted ive done that but nothing happens it worked once then about 20 minutes later it just wont work its says building set as not looted when i click it but nothing happens
Any ideas??

You still have to wait 30 or more meters from the building.

Marking the building as looted simply tells the game that it's free to spawn new loot. (But loot only spawns when players are 30-120 metres from the building).

Loot does always spawn, it's just a matter of PC specs, and time. Same goes for multiplayer, because you spawn the loot there, too. You just rarely notice how long it takes, because players have already spawned loot before you.

I hope this helps as an explanation as to how the loot system works. I can also point out that some buildings take abit longer (really long in some cases). Like the Elektro firestation, hospital and church. What I usually have to do (if I come from the Cherno direction) is that I run to the firestation on that end, wich will rarely have loot. From there, I run to the office building (also referred to as "school"), where loot is usually spawned. After that, going to the hospital is usually successfull, followed by the church, and then the firestation.


And for the good news that I never mentioned:



For the ones that didn't get the message, this is Namalsk BreakingZero, with loot spawning. Now, it is not finished. I still have to make sure of some things. But with some luck, I might release this today. Followed by Caribou, wich is already completed. Now, if Namalsk isn't completed today, I'll most likely release Caribou. And keep working on Namalsk.

Above Awesome news and looking forward to both! I have not played on Caribou yet only seen a streamer video on it and am waiting for your release to explore it. I love the feeling of running around completely lost when a new map come around. Thanks for getting the download links working again for 3.5 finally worked today for me.

is there only two types of waypoint enabled? I want to use the little black dots (useful for marking a flight path or general path from one area to another, without having any marks or distance on screen apart from on gps). So far i can only use the large X in a circle and the small waypoint marker that shows distance to marker.

I am experiencing problems with the building system.
There are items that are not added to the backpack
We must wait for the timer reaches 0 to build (does not work the option of the space bar)

I'm really eager to get Namalsk working, Caribou was abit "meh". There are no towns or cities (all though it has all the buildings you need). It just feels like it's lacking a town or two, or even a city. That's why Namalsk gets my vote.

And I couldn't agree more about what you said about new maps and being lost. I play on expert, just to not have the waypoints and stuff. That even made Chernarus abit more fun, for a couple of hours.

And nothing to thank me for, I do it for myself, just as much as I do it for everyone else.

A loooooooong time ago, someone brought this up. And I never even knew that there was more than one marker type. I do know why you can only use 1, though. And I will see if I can unban it, the bad part is, that some of the markers are used to mark AI (why I kept them banned). But I'll see if I can unban them. Otherwise I'll just have to remove the "set marker" for AI's.

To be fair, though, I'll be spending alot of time getting Namalsk ready. So I wont have this fixed instantly. But once I've released Namalsk and/or Caribou, I'll work on a 3.6 update for Chernarus, Podagorsk and Taviana.

Since I'm *noW* REALLY confident about having this released today (you're allowed to hate me with all your heart if I do fuck up), I'll post another teaser.

The only thing I actually got left to do now is add the BreakingZero items to the Namalsk buildings. All though, it seems like it's already spawning items properly.

If you can tell me where to adjust it, I'll try it myself :D yeah these markers are really useful if your flight planning or planning your route ahead from town to town and dont want a constant distance marker there. they just appear as tiny black dots on the map/gps.

Oh yes, those are exacly the markers I'm talking about. As to where you unban them, I really can't remember. I just know that I've seen it, and can unban them.

I'll have it released with the 3.6 update and Namalsk/Caribou, though.

Hi Above, Im having issues with the building system. I use the cheat system to get the walls, gates, etc and when i finish the building stages it crashes the game. Any help?

hey guys, i have been really wanting to build stuff but the objects can be hard to come across, like netting material, i have only found one in 50 hours (with cheats) so could you make the loot spawn better or add more building options?
