is there a way of adding side missions ? like the spawning ones on servers: "a weapons truck has crashed kill the bandits" etc or the bandit convoy missions
you've said there are missions already, but can't seem to access any?

Above, thank you, Namalsk works here. Question: Does it have dynamic weather? Because it starts here with pretty good weather, but very uncomfortable weather would match the island better.

Another general question: If I overwrite the files in addons\ with the friendly AI files, can I still play regular missions with no friendly AI?

Sure I can, I can agree a shit ton. The Chernarus map needs some remodelling. Your changes, I frigging love them. And it inspired me.

About the missions SQF, you don't use that. You remove the unit from the biedi file, and convert it into SQF.

I don't think I've said that there are sidemissions already, all though I've said that I've been working on it.

This is something I'm gonna look into again soon. The missions will probably remind you a bit of Wasteland, but they'll be more DayZ-ish.

I'm glad Namalsk is working great. I get this question alot, yes. All my releases got the regular dynamic weather system for that mod.

And I'm still adding the fog-mist-thingy majig to whatever missions people want it for (and other changes people want for a personal mission).

Yes! You can overwrite your files with the friendly AI files, and still play the regular missions. All though bandits will most likely attack zombies.

This is probably a stupid question with an obvious answer, but where can I find helicopter patrols and friendly AI? I have a feeling they are closer to the center of the map, but I can't find any of them. Please help, thanks!

fixed most of the problem dont know how but now they still wont join me even if i dont change anything they just shoot me once or twice and then stare at me (also this is only when im playing on the Breaking Zero Chernarus + Friendly AI map not when im playing on the Breaking Zero Chernarus Friendly AI + No bandits when i play on the latter map they will join me instantly and i have no problem but i like to play with bandits too

Depending on map, they're usually around the airfields. But you gotta be in the area for 15 minutes.

No, all though it looks similar. I was asked to add it for someone, for Namalsk. It really looks good on Namalsk, and probably all maps, especially when you're in a forrest, it's spooky.

*EDIT: My bad, forgot to answer. I'll finish the Caribou missions soon (the release is done, I just gotta make all the different missions). I haven't actually played much myself, lately, though.

I'll take a look at it, seems like it's a glitch, or a fuck up in that one mission.

[Namalsk] Aren't Zombieshield and the custom loadouts there any more? They were very useful!
EDIT: I see you took that out because you want to improve our playing joy. Please put it back in again. The reason why I like Zombieshield on is, because then they are far away and my buddies do not shoot like crazy if I let them engage at will. I prefer to play against ai bandits, so not really interested in Zedz.


BTW you recommend asr_ai in your first posting. Well I use asr_ai + tpwcas as often as I can.

But AFAICS asr_ai is included in the Namalsk already, so users don't need to go to Armaholic etc...:

Wow, Namalsk is so creepy. I'm somewhere at 050 050, there's some kind of factory rumbling noise. Like bombs dropping very far away...
