Works just as well that way. I would still like to see them in BreakingZero at some point. Also, when is Namalsk mirror 2 coming out because the MEGA download is REALLY slow and just bad altogether. |

finally i have been waiting for something like this with base building in.
What cheats are in the cheat menu?? |
Spawn items, utilities, ESP (shows vehicle and AI positions), zombie shield, spawn building parts, repair vehicle, change skin... Stuff like that. At the moment the spawn items cheat is kind of broken though. |
Above, is the epoch base building code separated from the other code (Base building has a separate PBO)
If its not can you separate it and see if it would fix the movement keys?

I've had a chat with Bossman and I support what he is doing. I've added a post to the front page to discuss the new site thing and I would very much appreciate hearing all your thoughts and comments. As ever, if anyone would like to talk to me privately, you can email me via kodabarATgmailDOTcom

Heya. I'm having a problem; I enter the game, and the first thing I see is, that my character is totally fucked. His arms look like slender trying to make five loops while tying his fingers together, all behind his back, and I can't really fix it. Any help?

look in the graphical glitches section of the main post.

The game is ArmA. You want to know how to install and use addons in ArmA.
Download and unpack asr_ai. It should contain a userconfig folder as well. You want a directory structure like this: c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@ASR_AI\ c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@ASR_AI\addons\ c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\userconfig\ In the programm call (you have added something like "-mod=@DayzBreakingpoint" there (depends on how you called the mod folder), you extend the -mod line like this: "-mod=@DayzBreakingpoint;@asr_ai" You should also look for the mod "tpwcas". This will make AI react to supressive fire. Many ArmA players use asr_ai plus tpwcas in combination, its very popular. |

Hey. I have something that I think would be an awesome addition for the Namalsk map. Since it's snowy, I think a snowscooter/mobile would be fucking fantastic to have around, for the esthetic feel

I want a sleigh :3

I know how to add Custom faces to the directories, and how to use them as well. 1. go to "My Documents / ArmA 2" 2. place the .JPG picture there, named as "face.jpg". File size should be below 100kb 3. launch the game, go to Player Profile and select Custom Face 4. to verify how it looks in the actual game, launch editor and place yourself on the map along with one another team member. Then switch to command view (or 3rd person) and pan the camera around yourself So that was the normal method for using a custom face... But, with some video cards, mostly ATIs (it seems) there is the pale face bug. I have it myself too. The faces look very different from the original, lacking colors and very pale. While in Player Profile you see the face normally, this bug affects only during the game and concerns everyone in multiplayer - not only you. e.g. if you have this issue on your video card, you see other players' (JPG) custom faces incorrectly, while other players might see them completely normal. Workaround and preferred method would be using PAA format instead of JPG. How to convert JPG to PAA 1. Save the picture as TGA / 32-bits per pixel in photoshop (or GIMP, whatever you use) 2. Download Texview 2 and install it 3. Open the TGA file in Texview and save it as "face.paa" in "My Documents / ArmA 2". Remember to remove the "face.jpg" if it's still there.. Check the file size, most likely it'll be way more than 100kb - a bit too much for custom face. You need to re-open the JPG and resize it to 256x256 (assuming it was 512x512 in the first place). |

Great tutorial! All though you don't have to change the face format. It is already a JPEG. So all you gotta do is pick a face, rename it "face" and put it in your profile folder. I'm currently trying to out for "other profiles". |
i cant seem to get it to work iv. i followed your instructions:
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Download the BreakingZero mod you wanna play. 2. Move @BreakingZeroX to your OA directory, from the downloaded addons folder. 3. Move any of the missions to your mission folder. 4.
