Is there a problem with the download? I install it correctly but once in the game, it tells me that I'm running the 1.7.5.1 code. I put in the 1.7.6 files from my main DayZ install into my @DaiZySP folder and ran the game to check it was the right version. Once I put the files provided in the download, it's back on 1.7.5.1.
Any way to fix this?

Mine says 1.7.5.1 too, it doesn't matter. But this is because I used parts from 1.7.5.1 to make it work. It still has everything from 1.7.6.

Edit: Once I get the later patches to work with the respawn script, we'll have the full code. But as I said, nothing is left out.

Understandable. I'll be looking in to this first thing tomorrow.

I think the UI is bugged, though. But it might just be me. It works until I use the cheat menu, pretty much.

When I run into Cherno, there no loot. I wait a few minutes running around and nothings spawns.
What do i do?

First of all great work on this awesome single player mod. I thank you for the time you put into the game and am very excited about DayZ and DaizY overall. Since DaiZy 1.7.5 I noticed that the zombies have no tags on recruit but the bandits have enemy (red) or friendly (green) tags. I figured out that if I put the 1.7.4 code and anim pbo's back in the daiZy folder i can see the grey unknown blobs on the zombies again. I just tried 1.7.6 and saw that the tags for the zombies aren't there again.
The only thing i could think of is you needed the space for code or something. I have tried multiple types of DayZ SP and they all have tags on recruit. I have treid looking at the code on different types of pbo's and i can;t find where i would enable or disable that. Im sorry to say i can't play this game without them. At least at night it's a little easier to move around, but during the day i have so much trouble spotting ...things, i where glasses, im blind, i need visual aid! Please, if you can find the time, can you write up a couple of lines to tell me how to turn them back on, thanks. And again really, great job guys. There is nothing out there like this game, it is catching fire!

Oh, and when you try to deconstruct something, does attempting mean it is doing like a random roll or is it that some things, you just can't deconstruct because of position or whatever?

I just noticed im having the same problems as others. I downloaded and installed the 1.7.6 file but the menu screen says 1.7.5. Don't know what files are running.

If the new features And fixes work then dont give the 1.7.5 much attention. might be a un-updated typo in the dayz_code.pbo. Which is not an issue

Hello there! I haven't been to these forums for so long. So much have changed... Maybe it's silly to ask but why are you removing the AI friendly survivors? And can I still use DayZ_SP's great code that makes AI actually shoot zombies with this version?
Otherwise I really appreciate your hard work and love it!

Not sure what you're talking about : if you refer to the white dots on the sides of the screen, they've been removed since 1.7.5.1; otherwise it might be related to your difficulty settings?

I removed the friendly AI for several reason, first off I didn't like them. Secondly they were not working properly.

That's something I'm not in charge off. You'll have to learn to spot players without nameplates.

I personally hate it, because it's equivalent to wall hack.


Edit, this is in the arma files, and unaffected by DayZ. The beta patch probably fixed it.

This is likely because of your computer. (I'm not saying that you have a bad computer, I take that price). But this is singleplayer, so your computer is processing EVERYTHING, even though it's processing alot on MP too. But that's why zombies and loot might take a while to spawn in sometimes. Cherno works fine for me.

DayZ_SP forgot (I'm assuming). It's also another small thing, I will add it eventually. You could use the ammo box, though.

GUYS!

I updated the links, they now got the 1.7.6 text when you launch SP, the reason it said 1.7.5.1 was simply because I had to add the singleplayer button again, and the code lines with the singleplayer button also had the "briefing name-thingy-majiggy". So it's now "legit" 1.7.6. The only feature missing is the moved main menu (the one with the singleplayer-multiplayer-option buttons). And this is due to me having to add the singleplayer button again.
