Hey Above, I've noticed another small issue : the uUral trucks (the yellow ones, dunno about the others) are full of military grade ammo, smoke grenades & rockets... Not really a big deal, but it's a pain in the harss to clean up...
Could you point me to the file to edit? I'd like to fix this before the fixed Full AI release ;)

This is more than likely in the ArmA 2 addons. Since it's not DayZ vehicles, nor added by any DayZ code, since they're all ArmA items.

Most of the vehicles are empty; only the Ural was full of ammo - that truck being a DayZ vehicle, I thought it had its own class ref...^^

About this release : are bandits supposed to engage each other? I can't find it on the changelog, but I think I read somewhere they're supposed to do so. Could you please confirm? If this is the case, it means I broke something on my mod and will have to fix it :/

Yea they do ...i've had it a few times where ive took cover and let them fight it out ...then kill the victor and reap the rewards in there backpacks...
Really great addition to the game

Little off topic guys sorry...but trying to find the mission that the AI survivors will shoot at all bandits and zombies and not just some aslong as they have ammo...hopeing it was a Chernarus mission/map

any help will be great ..cheers

DayZ_SP's latest Chernarus release. He did alot of improvements to the AI, that's the files I use, though. But I remember them working.

Bump. I've been unable to find anything on the net...
I'd really like to know if I can find a work around and have the fixed Survivors AI as well as the bandits shooting each other...I'm quite lost guys; couldn't find anything either in the mission files :/

I don't know if it's my files only, but my bandits engage zeds, other AI bandits and the player.

I'm not 100% sure what problem you're having with them, though.

Bandits wouldn't engage each other on my mission, but I've managed to fix it (I think).
Not sure if it was due to the tweaks I made or from the original mission though..

Just made an account to say thank you guys for your hard work. This build is amazing, the Bandits make me shit my pants just as much as in MP. I think this actually makes a compelling SP game, not just as a trainer for the 'real thing'.

It must have been a huge job so hats off to you all. It's very much appreciated.

You did not follow the instructions exactly, then.

It's either that you didn't replace dayz_code. Or your launch parameters are wrong.




And Haleks, I fixed the random damage on vehicles. Also, the vehicle inventory is cleared out. (Depending on what their meant to have).
