you could also if you wanted put the ai traders way outside the map where you would either need a helicopter to get to it or a car. or on that small island way out in the ocean.

Those are actually some good points. I wanna put them on an oilrig or something, in a secret location.

And about the sidemissions, I'm not sure about the details. But something like Wasteland (IF I ADD SOME), but different kind of stuff.


But it'll basically be the regular Wasteland "layout", you get a message on the screen, where it is. I'll make it be kind of like playing call outs, ex: "Someone come to Cherno, there's a bandit sniper here."

And have no marks on the map or so, so that you have to be really careful.

The sniper would be posted up like a sniper, with a good sniper rifle e.g AS50, M107 and so on.

I posted the UI icon bugs a month ago on the update 1.9....you said you have no idea what it is....i thought you fixed all problems and now i downloaded and tried to play again....its still there...i will explain again the problems in case you don't remember them.

When i start a new game,everything is fine....all icons( hunger,blood etc.) works fine.But when i suspend the game a resume,the icons wont work...they wont respond.Look at the picture below


You can see a "+" sign on blood...but if i bandage myself even though i'm fine,the sign disappears as shown below


And you might think if i bleed again,the "+" sign comes back....but it wont....

And like everyone saying by go to options and come back will fix this problem,but it gets worse...as shown below


Now there is no way of telling if i'm bleeding other than the grey screen at low blood....you removed the debug screen which helped me in here since it showed the blood count...now this is useless

Please fix this.....this is the last time asking you

There's nothing to fix.... It's working properly for everyone/most other players. I said that 10 times the last time, and I'm not gonna say it another 10 times.

Again, this is most likely caused by an addon or something, because if it was on my end, everyone would have it. I've never had this happen to me, and I think you're the only one who got it.


There's no way I can fix it, when it's not even caused by my files. I have nothing to go on.

I understand that you're upset, since you're still having these problems.

About my "bad programming" and shit throubleshooting, it's hard to find an error that only exists for 1 person, out of at least 1k. Now again, if it was my "bad programming" everyone would have this problem, not just you. I also think I said this last time, too; if more people report this problem, it'll be way easier to locate the problem.

As far as Haleks being better at modding ArmA than me goes, sure. That might be an accurate statement, Haleks have done some amazing work. And apparantly it even works for you. But the reason I'm doing this, is far from being better than Haleks, or any other modder.

And, I don't have to make up excuses. I'm doing this for free, because I enjoy it. I'm in no way contracted or obligated to please anyone. I do it because I enjoy supplying for the few who actually enjoys what I do. ;)

I will give you a list of things that have caused UI problem before, that's the only thing I can do with the vast amount of feedback you've provided.

- Being in a vehicle while saving/quitting a game.
- Changing skin/other things with Support Call. (Maybe Loki's Lost Key, or other addons, too).
- Doing the "game options-fix" before the UI have loaded.

Dude stop being a bitch he is making these mods for free because he enjoys it he does not need your shit!

Delete all your arma files redownload them and redownload the mod because its clearly only happening for you!

He cant fix what is not wrong. If it is not your files and is only happening to you then its bad luck.

Also calling him a shit programmer is just plain rude if you cant do any of it yourself do not be calling others shit at it. And before you say who are you to comment about knowing about anything i have a server side knowledge and know how hard it can be to get everything working just right.

I had this problem.
Try verifying cache through steam if you have a steam copy, but if not just reinstall.

WIP means "Work In Progress". I usually use this to show that it's currently being worked on, or that I've actually started on the project.

And no, you need no other addons, I suggest using ASR_AI, though. It makes the AI bandits alot more fun (more intelligent).

BTW, on another subject, I think I discovered what caused the bug where I wasn't able to spawn. It wasn't my PC that took a long time loading, it was actually some corrupted files I think... kind of weird actually...

Don't ask me how the heck the problem was still there after deleting and re-installing Arma numerous times.

Deleting a few arma files (think they were ca_*somethings*) and then doing an integrity verification to force re-download them seems to have resolved my issue.

It's almost illogical unless Steam's source files are corrupted from the start, but then why does it work when it only re-downloads some files? Some files get corrupted when installing? Who knows...

Any way, it might be worth trying for anyone having this sort of issue.

P.S: Keep up the good work and don't let anyone's selfish comments bring you down, you're doing a fantastic job and making a great effort to answer everyone's questions.

The loading thing, before you get to chose gender, happens for everyone. It shouldn't take long though, I usually have a 1-2 second hickup.

MEGA/Google Drive and Steam might corrupt files, yes. But I suggest not running the SP releases through any launcher, but instead make a shortcut.

Everything else works fine, you can make materials, convert them and so on. You can also build the workbench, you just can't deploy it for some reason. But it shouldn't be hard to fix, at all. :)
