It depends on how you look at it. It applies to MP and SP, but MP is what I was referring to.

And it's been in development the whole time, just without further progress. I will pick it up again, soon hopefully. A missionfile up to date would help alot, it was something with it that I can't remember.

I keep running into an issue with this latest release. I killed a bandit and when I attempt to loot their body the game shuts down due to Arma 2 OA crashing. I reloaded and engaged another bandit, proceeded to loot and once again the game crashed. This has never happened with any previous versions could it be a bug? has anyone else reported anything similar?

I had this problem.
Try verifying cache through steam if you have a steam copy, but if not just reinstall.
If that doesn't do it, copy the addons in arma 2 to arma 2 operation arrowhead.

Hi i have played this since 1.7.7.1 version (when i actualy started playing dayz) and everything was fine but now i downloaded the 1.8 version and i got some problems simple chernanus with ai and no ai versions works fine , but when i open Timecycle or no cheats missions i got terrible lags at start.with default version everything is okay.

Am I obliged to save my tents and car (the campment)?
Can you add the recombine mag option for the next update ?
and the fishing?


i've seen when I drag a body, my survival drag it in 2m and stop it,
after i have the drop body for everytime, it never  dissapear in the scroll menu
when i take a baseball batt, it has 0 (not 999999) and I can't remove it from me

It's really a good DayZ :D you make a great job for this man :)

I have been playing your BP missions for a long time and I have to tell you that you have done an amazing job! I would like to ask you if this 1.8 version has a working LAN that can save or that you have ever considered adding one?  I tried Haleks factions and I can't load a previous save in singleplayer or multiplayer (don't worry about this). I will download this new version (I know I am late to the party :p) anyways because you always do a fantastic job! Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanking you for sharing your amazing work with the community!

But it should work. I haven't gotten to test it, really.

Yes, I'll see if I can include that. I'm not sure about fishing, though. I tried it, and added the fish items and everything. But when I cought a fish, I wouldn't actually get the fish.

About the bat, I know. I don't know why, you'll pick it up with 100000 ammo, some/everytime, but modding it will reset to 0. I'll have to fix that, too. Also, I don't know where they added the drop option for the bat, because it's not in the bat.hpp. However, put it in your mainslot, and pick up another primary weapon, and it'll drop the bat. I don't think it resets ammo, though. :(


But I'll take a look at all this. The Epoch building system will be a prio when I pick this up again, though.

Hello, Davro! I'm really glad that you're enjoying it! However, singleplayer is what we/I do. :P

If/when I make a LAN release, it'll be a proper LAN release. But I'd have to do some digging, because I've never made a LAN release (that fully works), and I don't think anyone else has either.

But to be completely honest, I've started/planned to start alot of projects. So I wouldn't know when I will/can start to mess abouts with a LAN mission. I do agree that we need AT LEAST one, though.

I second the traders and currency. It will give us more of an end game objective to do/reach..

Also the wood chopping feature where the trees fall down would be awesome( i noticed that in mp when i chop down trees and relog they reappear, maybe it would be the same in sp so you cant destroy forests.)

If you don't want to add all the different epoch features into bpsp maybe you could just make a epoch mod by itself. Or maybe even different missions with the traders and other features.

The problem throughout the whole BP release, since start, is that it has all been an end game. It takes about 10 min to get fully geared.

The Epoch building for me was a sollution for this, so you actually had something to do when you've achieved your gear and everything.

Now, adding the traders would put us back, where you instantly get the best gear, and end up having nothing to do.

I might, at some point, add the traders (to an additional mission). But it's far from a prio, however I'm thinking about adding sidemissions, to an additional mission.

side missions meaning something to go do on the map like kill an ai controlled point or weapons place?

you could also if you wanted put the ai traders way outside the map where you would either need a helicopter to get to it or a car. or on that small island way out in the ocean.

I could see that fitting into the game; side missions just like wasteland! (bandits have landed helicoptor, take over bandit base, zombie infested camp)
