Also, there is one thing I think will worth the time to add: A script to pre-load all the buildings within a certain radius. I mean, I'd rather wait 5 minutes for the script to load the loot and not be able to do anything in that time (I can do it before entering a city, or in a safe zone, like a high building when I wasn't followed by zombies), than wandering around for hours for that one damned loot place I want to check.

I think the time wasted to do that will pay out!

Edit: For example, with the help of the loot not spawning imediatly, I have never seen a hospital with loot... and only few fire stations with loot normally spawning (and not after a hour of wandering around, if I do it this long without a axe, which seems to be the main weapon against the zombies, in dayz).

edit2: it would be great if after, let's say, 365 in-game days afterr being chopped down, a tree will grow back...

Loot should already get deleted everytime you leave a city for X minutes.

The whole world is already preloaded. The loot has nothing to do with the buildings, apart from appearing in them.

I could increase the loot spawnchance, but it would problably hit ever non-high end PC.

Also, what are your specs? Because loot for me spawns more or less instantly. Apart from some buildings that just doesn't spawn loot instantly for some reason.

My pc specs? Dual core, 4GB Ram, 512 MB video, uhm... anything else?
And, yeah, I am talking about that buildings that take a while to load the spawn...

Also, I want to ask one more thing: Do I need a toolbox to modify a weapon's attachments? Or there is something (else than the new crafting recipes that are not listed) that I don't know?

One morething: I hope the placed items, like fences, barrels, gates, doesen't despawn after leaving the city... it would be awful to lose my base just for leaving it for x minutes... I mean, I kinda hided it, so the argument "people would steal every part of it" won't work here...

It does, to symbolize people stealing your base.





No, I'm kidding, hahaha. No, only loot will get deleted (if it actually works).

And the reason for loot spawning in slower/really slow for you is possibly your specs. I'm not being a "your computer is shit, therefor you have trouble-asshole". My computer is shit too. Don't get me wrong.

To be honest his computer is shit.
Dayz/arma to get decent performance you need at least a 1GB GPU and better than a dual core CPU.
If i were him and had a little money i would get a amd cpu because they're cheap and good.
My old system which was a AMD Phenom II 840, with a ATI Radeon HD5570 could barely run dayz at playable fps, but on bpsp i ran 40 fps my new system which is a AMD 8350 and a 7870, can run it at around 60 fps in Dayz and 120+ in bpsp and didn't cost all that much to build.
I would advise him to save a little and upgrade his system.

I also run BPSP for like 40-50 FPS, but, for some reason, I need to not enter any building for like 10-15 minutes, and just run around, being careful not to get into it's dedicated space (to be read as: I need to be outside the space Arma2 is requireing for that building), so the loot normally spawn... and I am already keeping  some money so I can buy a gaming laptop, so...

Edit: After how many time outside the city the loot will respawn? And if I keep staying in the city like forever, does the loot respawn? If so, after how much time?
