If I might offer some input, if you could put Breaking Point on a not-as-well-known map, say, Sahrani or Nogova, that'd be awesome ;)
My wish-list of Breaking Point maps (no particular order): Nogova Napf Sahrani Podagorsk Isladuala Trinity Caribou Frontier Kolgujev I'd like to see a map for Caribou Frontier, Kolgujev, or Nogova in particular ;p
I have no idea what I'm doing. Trust me, I'm a dentist.

a new map would be good, it would give you that feeling of a new player not knowing where the hell you are or where anything is, i miss that feeling lol

What I can say now is, I will not put BP on Podagorsk. Someone asked me on Youtube to make a DayZero Podagorsk release, and I wanna do that, too. But I want that to be 100% DayZero in that case.
And also, it's a good thing if the map got alot of Chernarus buildings (since more are opened up). Or an empty map, of course. That's alot of work, though. But it will be new. |
Sahranhi could work seeing as almost all buildings are enter-able, would just have to add the loot spawns in?

If you are going to update this mod, could you look at a couple of things? 1. The zeds will not aggro on the bandits. There are tons of bandits around and even though I love that, if I could see the zeds heading off to tickle them it would make survival just a bit easier. Haleks seems to have gotten this down pat. As it is, the bandits fire off their guns and the zeds aggro on me! 2. I'm not sure if the building ability is broken. I tried to make a gate and managed to combine the parts but I could not place it on the ground. It said "You need the EXACT amount of whatever you are trying to build without extras". I tried swapping the gate in and out of my inventory and even emptied out my main inventory except for the gate but still get the same message. I noticed that the inventory is greyed out when I select the wire fencing icon that symbolizes the gate but I do get the menu choice to either build it or deconstruct it. Deconstruction does work, breaking it back down into it's components. I have the E-tool (thanks bandits!) and a toolbox. Aside from these two things, everything is great. Lots of zeds, bandits, guns and ammo (maybe too many ammo boxes). Not a moment's peace. |

1. The zeds aggroing AI is probably something I wont do. They'll just end up standing like non-hungry zombies, looking at the AI. It is possible to make zombies aggro AND attack AI, but you'll most likely take the damage. Unless major parts in the code is rewritten. 2. The building is not broken, well the building system I added is working properly. I'll see if I can find and link a recipe list for you. However the other building system/set of recipes is a bit strange. I don't think it's broken, just really complex. |

Thanks, I literally didn't find jack when I searched. I need help with another addon, that might not exist. I want an addon that fixes first person, so that you ALWAYS kinda see your weapon. I wanna play in first person all the time, but the fact that I can't see my weapon (like other FPS's, realistic or not) ruins it. D; |
Unfortunately, I've yet to find anything like that, Above. It doesn't bother me as much, but I'd like to see the top of my gun while running too. Good news, though. I FINALLY DISABLED GRASS AND HOLY SHIT 18 FRAMES HAS NEVER BEEN SO BEAUTIFUL.

I realize that the bandits will not take damage from the zeds and if it were to be done, I would take all the damage instead. This is too complex to fix and I believe is a limitation of the ARMA II engine. I just wanted a visual indicator to tell (without using ESP) which of the countless bandits shooting at me was the closest. I can always fall back on ESP though. I understand the nuances of crafting/building and can craft effortlessly. I will note that this system resembles the Epoch building system where the crafted item isn't immediately placed on the ground. When I do try to place the crafted item, I always get "You need the EXACT amount of whatever you are trying to build without extras" regardless of how many or how few items are in my main inventory. Single items like sandbags, tank traps and wire fence kits work as intended. Still, all in all, your mod is a joy to play. If the placement of crafted items doesn't work only for me, I can live with it. There wasn't any crafting in the early dayz.... |

The error that you're having with the crafting stuff is probably because you're either trying to build one thing, with the other building mechanics. That does not make any sense. But lets say you have the stuff you need for a fence with building system 1, I think you're trying to build it using the building system 2. Because the system 2 in this case works 100% properly. It's just that it's different. I'm glad you're enjoying it, anyways. I hope you get used to the building system, it is a damn mess at the moment. I'll see if I can remove the one that isn't properly working. But the second link of recipes should work for sure. I will do some testing myself, just in case. |

I am trying to use the DayZ+ construction http://dayzplus.wikia.com/wiki/Construction which also seems to be the Dayz Breaking point Construction http://dayz-breaking-point.wikia.com/wiki/Construction using two scrap metal and one wire fencing kit to build a gate. I noted on these websites that I may have to log out while trying to place the gate. This doesn't work for me since the suspend option is greyed out. Actually, aside from crafting the item, this system doesn't work for me. Using the recipes on this website http://ckwgaming.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=66&p=9766#p9766 does work. I just don't get the left side scrolling menu item "Build Recipes" to build with. I must click on one of the items in my main inventory and disregard what the item says it is going to build. I take it that there is a conflict between the two systems for me. Regardless, after a lot of mucking about, I am able to build with the last system. Thank you for your responses. |

Oh yes, that second link is the most reliable one. Now the recipe list should pop up, it used to be occasionally, but I did sort it in the older version. It seems it's broken now. Or there are requirements for it to pop up, I'm not entirely sure. I'll make sure it's always there as long as you got a toolbox. *EDIIIIIIIIIIT: I'll probably add the new DayZero skins, too. They do look hella good. :D I'll just have to find a way to balance it. :D |

Cant say I have heard of an addon that allows that. all i do is zoom out partially in first person (only works with assault and pistol. not on snipers) that makes it a bit easier to see the entire gun, not always while running but can still see it. I believe its the 'optics' key that allows you to switch from scope to red dot (on weapons like the M16 RCO M203)

Oh, that is not a problem. I have my FoV set, wich works on snipers too. I wish there was a camera mod for running in first person, though. :< It should be easy to do, to be honest. I'll look into it. *EDIT: I also realized that the last update made skins daaaamn common. I got a few ideas of how to balance the loot table, including backpacks, of course. |
