It's easier if you play a game and talk on Skype with a mate.

Also, humanity didn't have anything to do with the skins messing up. I've re-loaded my mission alotta times now, I'm trying to find what's causing it. But it looks like one of the new features (not the take skin from dead AI feature) because I've tested that on another mission and never had problems. But I'll find out and try to fix it. :D

Cool ^^ don't expect to find anything by looking at my Video though lol. I'm using the COWarMod, with SMK movements enabled and all that shit. So i have the ability to trag dead corpses away, and the AI will re-arm themselfes with any weapon they may find if it suits them and shit... I love the COWar Mod lol c:

Ha! I noticed nothing with COWarMod, and it had so many downsides (the inventory beeing one).


Also, I've found what seems to be the problem. As soon as I click "modify weapon" with ASC, the next skin change will fuck me up.

I'll have to mess abouts with it.

Yes, the ASC and Skin changes are a bit annoying. But are you sure that you adjusted your CoWarmod files? inside of the foler there should be something called Customization, which contains a lot of different folders all split up into different aspects of the game. One would be PVPScenes, and so on. That's where you can add in the SMK Movements and a lot of other things. I can make a Video tutorial if you guys would like me to?

Oh man I just got lost with those updates, it seems all messed up.
I've tried to play the ASC mission No AI version no timecycle,
but there was timecycle on it lagging my game every couple of seconds,
bandits everywhere and the ASC stopped working after resuming save ;/

The ASC is also great idea, but it needs more work or be completely redone.
R3F works just fine, taking skins from dead bandits not really,
but everything else seems to work well, like before ;)

Ignore that above, I'm chcecking out the newest update :D

Lastly there's one thing that I can't figure out for some time and it bothers me the most:
I tried to edit mission.sqm file from Halek's DayZ Factions
and put on the map all sorts of vechicles (tanks, jets, helicopters etc...)
in game almost all of them worked the way they should,
by saying this I mean they actually can fire from their turrets, cannons, and missle launchers.
When I'm trying to edit the mission file from your DayZBP sure I can put all I want,
but almost nothing really works, like all the projectiles,
sounds, anims for firing these weapons were missing, giving the effect
like I was firing blanks or with some invisible ammo.

How come is that?

I've tried to compare both dayz_code.pbo's and the rest of files
to find this somewhere but I've given up...
they mostly look the same, and there's too much of it...
even if I would found it I wouldnt know what to do with this anyway...
Got any ideas? ;]

The reason you can't fire the helis is because I haven't unlocked the rockets. *derp*

You do this in the dayz_anim file. I'll have to update again, and fix that. Haha.

But if you wanna do it yourself, fast. Then unpbo the dayz_anims, open the config file and remove all banned rockets.

BTW in previous version everything was fine and fixed except the ASC gun modding not working after resuming save, haven't tried this release, so I'm gonna check it out first ;]

and some of unused guns in dayZ ;] (Btw adding javelins, stingers to it, it's kinda cool when dealing with enemy AI choppers, well at least in AI version, now I just tried this in No AI version)
And all this in your great mod ;]
It gets better... R3F works with all vechicles!
At first I screwed up something, I was so excited that it works... but for some reason zombie animations were fucked up, so I started all over again spending all night, but now they seem to work.
Although I haven't tested everything, it would take ages ;P

Got a question though: is it possible to install COWarMod but without the standing/crouching w/ weapon raised? I've try the mod before, but I uninstalled cause I hated the way your guy walked with his weapon up so much xD

That's not the CoWarMod you're thinking of. That's the SMK Movement that you can enable by moving some files around ^^ The COWarMod comes with the SMK movements yes, but you don't need to use them. Also, if you are using them, you can still run normally. You just have to lower your weapon, and he's run/walk all normal again.

EDIT: As i said before, i can record a video of me adjusting my COWarMod files if you'd like it. That way you can see how to do it without accidentally messing it up ^^

All of them. if they're inside of your addons folder you just move them all to the Storage folder, which will render them inactive until you pull them out again.

ALSO, for Above. That black screen when pulling up your gear menu. You can fix that by removing two files, and i believe that they are called:
BlackBackgroundForGearDialog_Visuals_C_PvPscene
and
BlackBackgroundForGearDialog_Visuals_C_PvPscene.pbo.PvPsceneCO.bisign

if you put those into the storage folder i'm pretty sure that it fixes your screen so it goes back to normal :)

Lol same here. Though i started using it again recently since i started playing Terrafirmacraft with some friends ^^ And cool :D I just hope that Above can make a LAN version soon. We often get pretty far and then we have to start all over again xD

I'd like to join if you get a server set up. I mostly play the MP, but i've always wanted to see the SP over LAN working with saves so I could have a more "persistent" playthrough, and really get building and amassing great DayZ riches.
