Man, you don't know about the issues you're having : could be plenty of things :/
But if you wanna use the listed addons only, simplest thing is to grab the others and place them elsewhere - you should have a "STORAGE" folder in @CoWar mod (inside the addons folder), you can put them in there.

Otherwise, yes, you're supposed to spawn without weapons - but it's easy to find some. ;)

Hi Halecks,

I have tried the 2.8 update (normal mission):

1. Hunger and Thirst indicators work better. they do not go down so quickly as before, your fix is good!
2. I have discovered how to use the scrub to clean up the wounds, good to know
3. The Zombie attack sequence... I have not seen a much different behavior, I got the impression they stop to initiate the attack sequence a little bit closer, but still outside melee range so the only way to hit them is while they perform their attack with the usual hit-and-miss ratio. Don't move at all otherwise they will punch
4. I do not see so many AI (either friendly or not), I would say less compared to the Dayz 1.7.7.x version, also in towns they are rarer than before. This is something I noted also this in the 2.7 update as well

Thanks a lot for your effort. I am going to put a few more hours and then provide a more detailed feedback.

About the zeds attacks : it's still not perfect, but now they use more various animations than before, and they don't play the same anim all at once. But yeah it can be improved still.
As for the AI, they're a bit less numerous than before : I think it was becoming tedious always knowing that you would  systematically run into them in towns. I reckon not knowing where and when you will encounter them is more stressfull. But this is my own opinion; if you guys prefer a higher human population, just let me know! ;)

I agree, I was minding my own business in Cherno and god damn DMR sniper got me from a roof top. Also, any plans on adding base building back in, or making it so that you start with a tent?

Depends if I can fix it :/
Worse case scenario, I'll make an optionnal file with the building script (it doesn't break that much things).
As for the tents, seen as it is an important item in SP (with the loot cycle script), I might make it a bit easier to find and modify the loot tables a bit. But you should be able to find at least one in big cities : they can spawn in houses as well as supermarkets.

EDIT : wait, he was on a roof top? Nice!

Very nice release, one problem after the new 2.8.1, not sure if it's just me but the only way to suspend is to alt f4, won't let me suspend??

Nope, I just suspended fine, try deleting the whole DayZ folder and re-installing both factions and DayZ. it could be a problem with code being overwritten or something.

That's weird : I just checked and I'm 100% sure that the dayz restriction script is removed... :/
Do you have a timer when on pause?

Nah no timer. I switched to the older factions version and still I couldn't suspend.. I'll play around with it and see if I can get it to work.

My guess : it's not related to the daizy mod; maybe another addon you're using?
You should try an A2OA scenario and see what happens.

hey guys. i played for 2 hours and all the sudden there were no zombies anywhere. also when i swim it makes me stand on the water then fall in i move a step and it repeats. that building script sounds cool also.

Okay, I spawned at Balota Airfield and grabbed an axe at the nearby industrial area. As I was wondering to the control tower I heard shots being fired in the middle of the airfield. I quickly looted the tower (Found a sick ass spec ops clothing) and went to attack the attacker. I killed him with my axe and picked up his AKM. I than approached the military camp near the airbase and got pinned down by both a M14 and M1014 on either side of me. I took out both of them and am now in Cherno. Please Haleks increase the tent spawn chance, I've found jack since I got here.

I managed to recruit some lady I fond wandering the streets. As I finished looting a building she shot me point blank with an M1014, that was the end of my first playthrough.

Happens. Unfortunately the ai engages all targets they can see no matter what is between them. Best way I found to counter this is either actively moving and giving orders to your team or by cheating. I like to spawn something lightly or not armored with a 360 degree machine gun up top. Needs to be a vehicle that the bandits still have a chance to kill the driver and gunner. Stick your survivor(s) in there and they happily mow down zeds all day long while safely firing over your head. I use loki's lost key to spawn the vehicle and rearm it when they use up all the ammo. Oh and make sure you drive it as the ai is horrible at going around obstacles. (Sadly the first time I found that out about the ai driving I was messing around in DaiZy Taviana. I had found a cargo bed larger truck, repaired it, and was slowly filling it with stuff. Just finished looting a couple buildings, jumped into the back to drop stuff while I gave the ai a destination. Ended up running into another wreck at full speed injuring both of us and wrecking the truck.)

Best part is when you get really bored spawn up an A-10 with laser guided weapons at an airfield and put a pilot in it. Then spawn a laser designator and start lazing targets. Or spawn an armed Little Bird and try to take out a bandit chopper before they kill you. Save your game first then reload when you are done playing around to go back where you were at before.

Just noticed something in this game that I really have never seen in other games that I play. Everytime I discover something in this game it turns into its own little tale. :D

I saw one last night in Novy Sobor. So yes.

Ran into a few bandit camps running through the woods also. Usually have decent weapons. See the fire at night and sneak up on them. Is there only one bandit in those, or can there be more? One is good but having a random number from 1-3 bandits and tents in them so you never know what you are running into.
