Yeah, the player is considered like a regular Arma 2 medic : as soon as your leg is broken (wich works exactly the same as in Arma when you're wounded), you have an option in the scroll menu to heal yourself... D;
But I think I've already managed to fix it : I made it so only a couple of NPC's can heal others (like the doctor from OA or BAF). I'm working on the bandit Squads, I'll have to re-write quite a deal of codes :/ |

No problem dude ;) I'll have a look at those files whenever I can, and see what can be fixed. I have updated and added the patrolling cars. They will engage (and be engaged by) other bandits and the survivors; they'll also shoot at Zeds - but not at the choppers nor bandit squads since they're all on the same faction. I'll try to find a work-around this later. They don't react so bad, but it's not perfect neither... I didn't try with CoWarmod yet. Bad news though : the bandit edition is a bit broken - survivors and south bandits might stop engaging Zeds at some point :/ I've also fixed the player being able to heal his broken leg : you can no longer heal other NPC's though, and only three survivor models will have the ability to heal other NPC's :P Sorry but I couldn't do otherwise. |

I don't think you want cars to attack helis, they'll crash instantly (if you're using the cars I put in the script). Those guns are damn powerfull. If you wanna discuss 1.7.7, I'm on Steam. I've already studied it abit. *EDIT: I think I've just unlocked 1.7.7 properly actually. X) There were 1541 lines of code to go through. |

I've wrote a quick script (3 or 4 random cars, and random bandits with random gear) - the same as my heli script. But I didn't add insane cars - mostly resistance vehicles. Since they can respawn, I don't want the player to have a collection of SUV's ^^ Also, I'm afraid I won't have time to log on steam tonight :/ Can you email me the 1.7.7 files? I would like to have a look at them tomorrow before we start ;) |

I will see if I can add a couple more for the next updates. EDIT : just a thing about the medics though : they can heal the player if he has a broken leg - wich will break the leg icon. Quitting & reloading might fix it but I didn't try yet. |

MAN ! you're doing more than what we expected ! really great effort ! and about the broken leg issue...i think we don't need to reload, giving "game option" a visit will do the job ;-) and another thing i just found in this update, i found an 9mSD and when i aimed it was already zoomed :-p any idea ? why ? it's not a big deal ! Cheers ! |
Tell me if it doesn't fix the leg icon! In that case I'll just deactivate it in the dayz code - it's not like it's really needed.
I didn't change anything for the 9mSD though... |
