If you place in blueFor guards, yes they'll shoot at you if you kill too many survivors. They should also engage bandits since they're East-side. Even units spawned with Loki's react properly ;)

Yeah! I had some great times on Metro - such a good game, one the best post-apo along with Stalker (much respect to eastern devs!).

Hi, I've playing this mod for like 2-4 hours, and i've shot down a HELI. After that, I never saw any HELI ever again. How many HELI's are in this map and do they respawn? :))

for now ! I saw 3 helos, one patroling chreno. Another two patroling around berezino or what ever it's named dawned two of tgem and one just "suicided" in a montain :-p

It seems that crashed planes or choppers disappear quite fast in Arma 2 - I don't know if I can do something about it...

On topic : I'm messing with a couple of things before updating; I might be able to make the AI able to heal each other ;)

heal each other ???  :-/ that means the squad bandits with be pretty much immortals ! ;-)

mean while i was trolling with the crossbow and combined 6 arrows into 1 quiver but it seems i still can't use is ! any idea how to use that creepy quiver ?

Nope, only survivors can heal each others - and they won't do it unless you give them the order (unless using an auto-medic addon).
Gonna take a look at that crossbow, see if I can fix it before updating. If not I'll upload a fix later.

I don't know about the crossbows - I took a look and didn't notice anything wrong in the codes. But I never had the occasion to try it in MP so I don't even know how there're supposed to work...

Just one thing about the Bandit Edition & the squads : the bandit squads can spawn South, when doing so, bandits down south will stop engaging zombies until another bandit trigger is activated. Might fix it later...
Other than that don't hesitate to report if you see anything broken or unexpected.

Also, I tried playing without the rMod, out of curiosity... And it looks like it's not needed : all the AI units I saw had backpacks, including Arma 2 models. If anyone can confirm this, I'll remove it from the recommended mods section.

about the rMod, i met some AIs without visible backpacks in my last run ! gonna try and see if we still need the rmod,.

oh a fast suggestion about crossbow ! can you change the bolt to have quiver model & icon and change the ammo to be 6 or 10 ? i mean instead of having 1 bolt...we'll have a quiver with 6/10 arrows on it !  :-]

It means you are not running the dayz_factions file; check your shortcut launch parameters.

Actually you won't see the backpacks on A2 models (with or without rMod) but it should appear properly in their inventory.

Ok i got it thanks Haleks, that was it and it was from my own stupidity, i use arma 2 launcher and i did everything right but forgot to activate the mod :/   .......shoot me. thanks again man

Mmm... it might happen when near the sea :/
Tell me if it occurs again later!

And it seems that the rMod is required after all...
I think it is working without it on my install because of CoWarmod - just saw it has a backpacks4all file. ;)
