Dude. These DaiZy releases are really good. I've been playing on DaiZy Factions and DaiZy Namalsk and they both work really well as a single player experience!

I agree with your statement on removing cars. Other then being a really easy way to ascertain a land vehicle, they have destroyed themselves on many occasions. I understand that it must be difficult to get them to work properly, but personally I prefer having to find my own vehicle and fix that up.

The choppers are brilliant however, a couple have crashed into mountains, but mostly they are really smart and circle back around when shot at to line up and unleash chaos at me!

One thing that I was really, really thinking about however was loot spawning. It is a single player mod and loot respawns. Would you by any chance be able to have an option to turn off loot respawning? Nobody else will take the loot and I think it would give it that 'veteran edge' having to actually travel around to find items. I think this would be a more rewarding way to play, but again, having this as an option for players who are up for this type of thing. Maybe spawn in a few more bikes to aid in having to travel around to find things?

But yeah, in general, DaiZy is a really nice mod and you get my thumbs up for creating this!

I'll most likely remove the cars : as you say it's way too easy to find a fixable vehicle this way, and they're pretty much useless from what I've seen...

Also nice idea about the non-respawning loot! We know that it doesn't despawn, but having it not respawning could add a hardcore, realistic feeling! Will see what I can do, nice suggestion dude.

Actually respawning loot is a really good idea CROWBARS ! if you want your loot to stay...than pitch a tent ! Or find a car ! So Haleks...are gonna do something about it ?

And another thing about patrolling helos...i think i found a way to force it to land...not to crash but to "land" literally ! As far i made it twice ! I bursted 2 M16 mags on the pilot and it landed 70 metters from me, all the crew were dead, even the pilot, and by mounting to the gunner's place you drop his body out and than you can loot him, i found an MK98 acog with 8 mags, and the helo was capable to fly again, so the best thing to do if you want to have their hilo is to "not" snipe the pilot, but give them a "rain of bullets" !

And about the land vehicles...remove theme if you want, i still didn't meet any XD and if you want...can you add land vehicles with mounted MGs ? It'll be like RAMBO 4  

In general...the mod is running perfect ! No trouble for now and no bandit hords like the last update  !  :-)

Awesome dude, that is great! I really like the fact you have two versions: cheat menu or No cheat menu.

This is really good and prevents that temptation just to double tap '0' and heal when things go bad. With the loot respawning however, I have found myself parking in the center of Cherno's industrial area, and collecting every last empty tin can and bog roll, storing all the trash-loot on zombies or campfires and awaiting the new loot to arrive sitting between the 30m-120m radius!

Also, just playing on Namalsk tonight, and I found a machete but that was it, and a bandit was roaming around the forest outside the wooden hut I was in. They took a shot at me, so I ran back to the other wooden hut I found the machete, and low and behold a Lee Enfield has respawned in it's place! Obviously I took that and took down the Bandit, but if loot respawning was turned off for me, then I would have had to either make a run for it OR try and melee the Bandit. Personally, I would ahve preferred to have not had that Lee Enfield arrive, giving the game more of a 'survival edge'!

I suppose it is an 'exploit' in a sense that I simply cannot stop myself from using, haha!
Another one I've found myself doing is using the -&+ keys to accelerate time up to 4x. It is useful if you start in Kamenka, for the long run to civilization, but I'm torn between thinking if it is cheat or just a 'helping hand'.

I like games like Thief and Commandos where you have to sit sometimes for long periods of time, waiting for the right moment, but being able to fast-forward time feels less rewarding. I don't know really, what do you think?

I never use the accelerate time feature : I'm always afraid to break the UI or something else!^^
But eventhough, in a game like Arma (or any of its mods), it's all about immersion for me - such a realisitc game should always be played hardcore style really.
But that's an extreme point of view (a bit); I use that option a lot when I'm playing X3TC, I'm just not in that mood when I launch Arma2 ;)
And Namalsk really is a sick map - it's a shame it doesn't have more success online!

You might still see a bunch of bandits at the NW airfield, it'll be fixed for the last update.
And all the current car patrols have mounted guns already. ^^

What the hell just happened?! I finally found a map in DaiZy Namalsk, found out I was right down south so I was moving up towards some kind of train station/depot... when suddenly the screen went orange a few times, and then I think a nuke went off or something?
I've googled a bit but cannot find information on what just happened. I woke up about 15 seconds later and now have about 10% blood left!
I have no idea what is going on in this map, but I like it! Also... do you use the same AI mechanics in each mod? Or is Factions the 'main' mod, as it were? I've downloaded DaiZy 2017 ready for after I've played in Namalsk :)

He means would it be possible for the spawning cars to spawn with a mounted gun. Also, the time speeder doesn't break the UI, it just screws up the loot spawning, kind of sucks since I always spawn in Kamenka :P

That was an "Emission"; in the STALKER games, it's some kinda paranormal storm wich turn human into zombies. Run inside a building whenever it happens!
Also, to avoid confusions : I haven't made any other mod than Factions so far. The current 2017 release was made by Fedus - it uses an older version of 2017. Since he doesn't appear to be working on it anymore, I'm working on the latest version of DayZ 2017. I'm almost done by the way - it's gonna be friggin' awesome guys! They really did some good work with the last updates.

And the Namalsk mission you're playin' was made by Above. ;)

Sry to barge in but its a part  of Namalsk Crisis  if u play the game u notice that theres a faction that found "something" ( and i wont spoil what :D ) and the Soviet & US army reacts to due to lets say problems around the globe

Anyways the Orange thingie and resulting loss of blood comes from the so called Blowout (again i wont spoil it) u may notice some wierd noises like a sort of rolling thunder if the frequency goes up be prepared and find cover ( buildings )
Well bad thing it hurts and makes u unconsiouness loss (so u easy target for all out there)
Good thing if in buildings only fall (2 empty jack daniels?) asleep (still easy prey who knows u there)
Best part there's a blue pill for the so called Blowout (guessed it , i wont spoil it  ;D )

And Haleks 3 thumbs up  , slightly changed the missionfile to make it harder
i.e. no Nvg or high gradeMil , i like the sound of m249 or just a non soundsurpressing gun
So iam more like the chemoguy and flare tossing pain in the Zombie butt

Yeah but most people don't know that all those features from the Namalsk Crisis mod actually come from the STALKER serie - wich was adapted from a novel to begin with! ^^
I highly recommend you guys trying "Stalker : Call of Pripyat". Damn good game that one!

Ah yes I have played about half way through of the first Stalker game, I got hold of a nice patch/mod called Stalker Complete 2009 and it irons out all the bugs (as far as I can see) and adds a few graphical tweaks and sounds. I highly recommend it! There is a Complete patch for all 3 games. One day I will play through them all... one day...

Zeroday is the dayz_factions file; I guess your friend didn't set up his shortcut parameters properly.

In the latest build NPC Survivor do engage Z, but I discovered when:

1) a survivor -either recruited or not- does not engage Z normally
2) a survivor -either recruited or not- does engage Z hostile to the player (that is, Z who have detected the player and are running to attack)

So survivors engage Z only when it is needed, which is a very good thing IMHO!

As far as I remember I didn't code anything about Zeds priority - but that is good news indeed!
