Steady snipers ! My worst nightmare AI ! He spot me....he drop to the ground....BAAAAM HEAD SHOT ! or if i am really lucky i get a broken bone and bleeding to death ! Oh and yes ! They become so skilled ! I always see loners team up with squads against me ! XD |
And one moee thing about adding ASR AI Skill,...i never managed to get a friendly AI out of an ambush area alive :'-( tgey always end up killed unless i had more than 1 :-p

It's not easy to manage a squad and keep your men alive, it requires a lot of attention and orders to give - having some experience from playing Arma 2 greatly helps. Just think of it the 'army way' : if your leader doesn't give you any directive, you won't be efficient. |
The problem is a really do order them pretty well,...sniper go to a high ground and well covered and order him to prone and "fire at will", assaulter to take cover and crouch and "open fire",...shotgunner to get inside a building and stick to the wall & "trigger happy" but i end up hearing....."two is dead" :-p All on all....this mod is doing it perfectly right ! Yeah chernarus is well known now ! It's not that hard anymore,. P.S : I opened your mission in the editor and saw what you did with the camps, so i decided to make a liiitle "copy past" and few edits, now i have two more camps with more stuffs on them, one with a humvee in medium conditions and another one "very very very very very well protected,. (Gonna regret it so frrigging much :-/ ),. I hope you're okay with me modding your file (it's for personal use only ),. |
how do u install ASR AI i tried and the instructions werent understandable for me?

No worries! But duplicating the camps might cause some glitches : each base has a set of scripts and markers - for that base only! Doin' more camps requires to write specific scripts for them, sadly :/ |

ASR AI 1-creat a "@ASR_AI" folder in your main arma 2 folder. 2-Copy the downloaded "addons" folder to the created @ASR_AI. 3-look for "userconfig" folder in your main arma 2 directory, if you don't have one than creat it. 4-creat a "ASR_AI" folder inside the "userconfig" folder. 5-copy the "asr_ai_settings.hpp" file from the downloaded "userconfig" folder to your created "ArmA 2/userconfig/ASR_AI" folder. 6-copy "keys" folder to your main arma 2 folder. P.S : you'll need CBA addons (Community Base Addons ) |

I don't think the wind affects the ballistics in A2 - could be wrong though... |
here is an experienced daizy 2017 sniper XD.....winds doesn't affect sniper bullet, only gravity do ! i used to snipe from far aways and from open areas where winds scream outloud ! and only gravity what lowers the bullets,. i might be wrong :-p and for "(The wind levels + leafs flying around depending on the wind speed)" are so beautiful ! here is a pic with one ! sweet wind |
Haleks, i was running and trolling for a real long time but the hunger & thirst doesn't deplet right, they are so slow than what i used to, maybe it's just me but i didn't use a water bottle for about 2 hours ? i guess Dimitri doesn't feel the hunger and thirst anymore

In my experience they do deplete - you might just be used to the previous versions when they were depleting twice as fast as normal. I might be wrong, but it seems to me that the 2017 devs slowed down those to bring them to more realistic levels. I'm going to make some tests to make sure - I might use the dayz 1.7.7.1 icons for hunger & thirst, since they're easier to read. |

Well, I saw a video about 1.7.7. And that they might implement this new windsystem. What came with it was the new different sounds depending on wind speed, the leafs flying around + the sniper affected by wind thingy. Now, the leafs are definitely implemented. I haven't stumbled across the keys for the scope options that counter wind, though. I'll see if I can find the video. I'm sure alot of people will like it. It's sick if you have to take in account for wind, while sniping. |

Probably you're right, i might just used to the old ones :-), and porting new icons is waaaay better ! And another thing not only me noticed it...it's painkillers and antibiotics, we don't use them anymore :'-( i just miss using those two medicaments ! So is it okay if you tweaked the files a little so we can use those two things ? A little chance of getting infected by zeds hit, and shaking from a gunshot wound is what "i" really miss ! And it's all up to you ! |
