Are you referring to the industrial kind of compound with those 2 military buildings? I'm thinking about making that 100% industrial. Because as you said, it's quite OP.

Yup, I removed this feature completely. Not really because it was glitched, rather that skins spawn everywhere. And it was far too easy to get the more rare skins.

As for the plane crashes not killing you instantly, that's just ArmA. I don't think I every actually died from a crash (SP/MP). Assuming I was the one flying.

It's meant to be random now, more or less. I rather have vehicles abit hardcore. Since it is singleplayer, there's not really a threat so you can repair a car without problems. And it's also rewarding, as you can drive around and collect alot of stuff. I'm obviously not just gonna say no, since I asked for feedback. But I would like more comments on this.

Great, I agree. But I think it feels really plain, now. I'll see if I can add a vendor/currency system and that Epoch building system.

Above, Which file do i need to edit to add in my own custom base to the map for dayzX? I know a pbo manager is needed to open it. If so do you have a screen shop of the file in the dayzX folder?

everything installed correctly, but when i spawn, i cant move, there are no textures, only the terrain, and 10 people are on my squad,
what did i do wrong?

I know base building isnt in this one yet but in breaking zero I struggled to get wall or floors the same level/height how do you make everything the same height or level when building ?

I'll let you in on a secret but don't tell anyone...

Down the road south from Stary Sobor is a military camp surrounded by 3XHBarriers. These can be loaded into your vehicle. They are worth 10 storage points each. Grab as many as you can. Build your base floor. You should be able to get that all sorted out straight. Try to pick the flattest ground you can find. Put up your staircase to the second floor. Standing on a section of your floor (This is very important!), move a 3XHBarrier over to where you can climb the stairs and stand on it. If you put down a floor section you will find that the height is PERFECT! The 3XHBarrier is wide enough so that you have leeway to move and it is perfectly flat. Put a few together.

I've been building up past five floors with this method and everything is level. Falling off one of these bad boys five stories up hurts like hell though.

I'm having a bit of a problem that I need help with.  For some reason when I run the mod my character models go all over the place (reminds me of a deathclaw, the way they look)  And it only happens when running the mod.  I'm not sure what I've done wrong when installing, because I've got the same mod on my other laptop and it works fine.

I enjoy the randomness of the AI and the vehicles. Using the ESP though. I noticed that they don't patrol. Or is that just

Oh, a new beginning :-) I'm wandering between DayZ SP and ArmA III "King of the Hill" MP missions currently... My wife is at home these days, no playing now unfortunately.

What plans do you have regarding island support? Namalsk again please? Namalsk is small, but I sooo much love the mood. BTW, can't DayZ be made universal for any island? I think about it like the Alive mod for Arma 3. It auto detects buildings and military installments and then automatically places units and stuff.

My biggest concern about previous DayZ SP versions was, AI could see through all walls. Very terrible in Chernogorsk centre. They permanently shoot into walls, it looks just braindead. But I think you cannot do anything about it...?

I will add more maps, however there can't be 1 code for every map. I could make 1 code with the loot for every map, but that would still not work with some maps. Like Taviana for instance, that addon would mess up Chernarus apartments and so on. I could rewrite the map file, too. But there would be another addon that needs it's own code.

As for the AI, I could make them smarter (wich I want to do really soon). But I don't know if they would stop shooting throug walls, all thought I've never seen this. As for how the AI work, I think they see you, and if you go behind a wall, they'll know that's where you went. I don't think they actually see through buildings. Either way, if you haven't, you should try playing with ASR_AI. It's an addon that improves AI (and probably the reason AI appear fine to me).

Try it in DayZ X, DayZ X is the mod I'm gonna do my best to "perfect". Eventually, it'll be the same thing as BreakingZero, with some minor changes.

Hey above good job on this release its really good. But i encountered some sort of problem, i spawned me some clothes but when you click on "wear" it doesnt do anything. Any idea what it could be?
