The water/food glitch is "only" when you respawn. I've been reading all the respawn scripts, briefly. It's kind of hard to make out what's causing it.

Removing the respawn script would most likely sort ALOT of problems, I've been thinking about it. But I rather try to fix it first. I mean, in the end, you could just save whenever you feel like "okay, this would be a fair time to re-load if I die".

But again, it would be way cooler if we could get the respawn script to work properly.

I really don't get why it's not working for you, I've tried plenty of times now just to make sure. It works everytime. If you're using the cheat menu to get a crossbow, that's why it's not working. Because it's using the old arrows.



ALSO, the building mission does not have combat roll (I think) I will have to do some more testing. If not, I know why, and I'll update it.

Thats awesome.. I cant wait to have the friendly AI going again... I like to have them drive the chopper while I mow bandits down lol... I can spawn them with lost key but after I kill a few bad guys the one I spawn takes command saying he is the new actual :(

This bug isn't related to Loki's; it was one of the problems with the FULL IA, and one of the reasons I wanted to make an overhaul of this mission ;)

Niiiice!

I've had a question for a while, though. Have you found anything about the UI on restart? I know that it's not related to the DayZ patch, more likely the respawn script. Have you looked anything at it? I haven't found anything yet, but I've only been checking it briefly.

The food + water states were not added to the respawn, however adding them didn't change anything. Unless I missed something obvious, it happens sometimes.

Other than that, great job.

EDIT: Also, we're getting a complete list of changes, right?

I didn't really look at the UI - right now I'm trying to figure out how to remove the Team HUD (you can already disable it in the difficulty options, but I'd like to have this set in the mission file).

I'll make some tests regarding the respawn script and keep you updated ;)

And, of course, there'll be a complete changelog.

Alright, I haven't checked it more after the last time (obviously lolo). But I'll also see if I can work it out.

ALSO, I just noticed that the combat roll stops working after re-loading a mission. This is something I'm fixing just now. I'll see if I can find the reason for the UI messing up. ^^

There's no hope of playing this mission online with a mate is there? That seems like a tall order.

Call me a pussy, but i would love the ability to play co-op dayZ with saves so I can get into a long building project without getting killed by better players. I know this is not what Dean Hall meant DayZ to be, but at the same time, DayZ is not what BI made the Arma engine for. Different people value different things from games I think.

Bad news, though. My fix made sense. It just didn't work because you're playing as an AI after respawning. And AI don't need to drink or eat.

I'm not sure if you can somehow respawn as another player, if that was possible, we'd have no problems.
But this was way deeper than I thought.

I will do my best, though.

you also keep saying this happens after you respawn....meaning after you die and return again "yes" ?
OR  meaning after you return after you saved your game ..right?

The UI does not work on any of my missions after respawn. And yes, this is when you die and "return".

Reloading a save wont mess the UI up (apart from the little cross on your blood icon).

This was a problem when I uploaded the first 1.7.6. However alot of changes have been made, and I don't get this problem as of the latest links.




Also, I've been messing abouts with the damn combat roll code now for a looooong time, and I really don't get why it wouldn't work after reloading, since every other line of code does. I will look into it after a bit of sleep. That should charge me a bit.
