I am currently playing the regular Hemp mission with the custom 80 slot backpack mission and have not found no loot around wrecks. I wanted to ask you if you removed them?

Nope, I haven't. Last time I played, I used the exact same mission, and I had loot around wrecks.

Didn't you find loot on any wreck at all? I've noticed that it can take quite awhile before loot spawns.

That could be the issue. It was a fresh spawn, so maybe everything wasn't booted 100%. I will try again in a few and let you know what happens. Thank you

Hey Above I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to find any wreck loot. Building loot spawns fine but when I approach a random wreck vehicle nothing spawns. If and when you find the time would you be able to look at the file? If not guide me and I'll look over it. I know you have your hands full.

Sorry for taking so long to test it out. But I've tested now and it is working. I did get an error about a skin not excisting, though. >_> (I had to wait for a while before loot spawned, though).



I'll have to check that out if more people get it, it might just be me that have been messing around with my own files. Not sure.

next update above, or a small map update, could you make a military camp, far off in the hills or something like heaps of high level loot spawns, have like a bunch of working military cars, possible heli spawn,, would be good, is it possible to have AI gaurd something like that too? like origins style,, also a glitch i came across when a spawn heli or car, or one that has been found if i use repair vehical on it it will repair but if that vehical gets damaged EG i had a helicopter that got the rotar shot up and destroyed landed, then hoped out and hoped back in and it was repaired automaticly? any reason to this? its a minor glitch

It is possible, but this is 1.7.6.1. I reckon high end gear is already really easy to come by. You find DMR's in heaps in pretty much every firestation.

I will think about how we can get AI bases, and have them somewhat balanced. Having a camp where you can get every weapon by killing a few AI, though. That's something I'm not really too fond of. I like the idea of having to scavange for a while until you get the weapon(s) you want. It gives you something more to do, so you're not just "done" in 5 minutes.

As for the vehicle, cheating in a vehicle, or cheat-fixing it will cause it to glitch out like this. I think we were testing and talking about it before, with Ray. And came up with the result that it only happens if you use cheats on the vehicles. Try to spawn parts instead, and don't spawn the vehicle.

I've noticed that using the fix vehicle cheat causes the parts to still be red when you scroll on the vehicle. I hope this helps.

cheers above yeah i noticed that the car will still be red,  and agreed making alot of high level loot spawns that it could imbalance it and wreak the joy of working towards, was thinking something like 2-4 barracks, and few medical tents, some towers fortified walls, 1 way in and its gate, and couple cars, potential heli spawn, then some random stuff in a military base, then make it it gaurded by like 20 AI  make it super hard could allso balance out the high reward VS risk factor, if their is a heap of AIs to contend with, anyways my brains in over thinking mode heaps of ideas, going back to more BP single player :) cheers above,

Well, that's a perfect description of the base that I've already made (at NWAF) it's just lacking additional AI. :D

And yes, we're on the same page now. I could add some AI guarding it, and some rewarding vehicles (it already has 3-4 barracks if I remember correctly).

is it possible to add different vehicles? just to change things up a bit? obviously we have the regular ones like SUV,HMMV, pickup, urals, UH-1Y, osprey, armed and unarmed little birds, Mi-8 and the airplace, but i was thinking maybe some different heli's such as the UH-60- there are plenty of crashed ones so it would make sense at least one is fixable. Maybe a fuel truck or ammo truck that can be kept at base so you can refuel and re arm if needed?

just throwing an idea out there. if not, i'll just stick with Loki's key lol

Yup. I'm adding more variety to vehicles for sure. It'll be way more like BP MP.

I got my hands full atm, though. But I might aswell wait for the 1.7.X update for BP before I update. :P

awesome sounds great! no rush though mate, i'll just spawn them with Loki's key if i really want them in a hurry. Also, everythings working great! only thing i noticed was i still could'nt airlift one object, it looks like the image i posted but there are 3-4 of them and it has netting and what looks like rope attached. I also didnt get the option to load into vehicle.

EDIT: i'll get a screenshot of them next time im in game

I know wich ones you mean, those are added in with the MAP addon. I don't think they're a part of R3F. They were meant to spawn loot, but the coords were glitched, or I messed them up. I'll see if I can steal the coords from BP MP.

Hopefully they didn't go back to run alot serverside, so that I can actually update this without bugs, due to "secret" code.

The friendly AI, when/if I add them will be very basic. They'll join you and shoot shit. I won't have any fancy stuff.

Haleks have made a really good mission for friendly/bandit AI.
And I'll start working on the update, today. =)

I don't think it'll reset anything. But you wont be updated either.

I'd suggest restarting anyways, in a worst case scenario, cheat your gear back.

I'll work on the actual feature updates too (the bases, even more armed vehicles etc etc).
