Tbh, I'm not working with 1.5.1, because I realeased it as a project. However if this is a problem you have in 1.5, I'll make sure to fix it, because 1.5 is released and meant to be a stable release.

1.5.1 was just a small update, wich wasn't really even an update, before 3.0.

The only real thing that did was add a new tent.
Ok, so, I found the problem. Apparently one of the only differences between 1.5 and 1.5.1 are the 2 files called "santaclaus.pbo" and "santaclaus.pbo.DayZTavianaDZL.bisign". 1.5 introduced those files, and 1.5.1 removed them, but the game still adds the santa zombies into the game. Therefore, since there are no textures or data on the santa zombies, they're invisible and just make noise and cannot hurt the player. Maybe if you put the 2 files into the 1.5.1 update the zombies will appear, but I'd rather just have normal zombies, not santa ones and normal ones :3
Oh, and I think you can fix this very easily by removing the chance of a zombie to spawn as a santa zombie, but I'm not sure.

The problem is not the Santa zombies. They do work in the 1.5 version, wich is a "complete" and supported release.
No offense, but you don't get it, do you? xD

I KNOW that 1.5 is a complete and supported and full release, and I know that 1.5.1 is not. I don't care what version I play on. The only reason I tried 1.5.1 was because I assumed it removed the zombies, since the santa zed link was down. I don't want to play with SANTA zombies, I just want regular ol' Taviana zambies. Sorry if I'm being harsh, but that's all I want - no santa claus or gandalf wizard zombies. I love your work, I don't mean any harm or whatever. Keep up the good work :3

Yes, but I also told you that it wasn't my link. It's seriously 0 things I can do, but reskin zombies myself and upload. I could do that.

*EDIT: I was also talking about supported version etc etc because I was refering to the invisible zombies. Since I've already said that the link is out of my power.

I'm not even sure what tireheaps you mean, but if they're Taviana originals, I might not be able to remove them. I'll throw my right eye on it, though!


*EDIT: Unpack the mission.pbo, find init.sqf and then you'll open that, and some line will say something about timecycle. It should also have a description of the math behind it.

You gotta have the exact amount of stuff you need to build whatever you're building, in your inventory. Then just right click one of the items, and build.

Could you link me to a good PBO Viewer/Extracter/Unpacker? I can't find one that works.

i have 1.5 running and 1.51 and in both versions i get invisible zombies, i always get a warning saying the santa zombie file is missing or something to that effect . So maybe the invisible zombies are the santa zeds. i have never seen a santa or wizard zed ever in either game. it doesnt bother me that much, would be nice to have it fixed, i do sometimes look for them and then realize that its the glitch.

hey Above i installed that sound mod jsrs15 and wow you are right it is awesome. but now when i try to reload a saved game i get a  you cannot play edit the mission, depends on downloadable content that has been deleted, ace_sys_explosions,acex_main,acex_M_veh_5ton and so forth .... all acex and ace something files. like 15 files in total. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I quess the previous time you played the mission you were running ACE which now you dont. Either launch the game with ACE again or restart the mission.

got it figured out , that sound mod came with two mod folders, all the errors are from the second sound mod, just uninstalled that folder, dont seem to notice anything different and now it reloads fine. thanks again ray

BTW, What's the deal with the Cities slowly becoming Overpopulated with Bandits? I was at Sabina while i was playing DaiZy during my long break in School today, and i was in there for what.... 5 minutes, and when i went to the city outskirts, i was met by a huge effing firefight, which was situated all around Sabina in the outskirts of the city. it's crazy.
AND, Whenever i close down my game, i can't pick it up from where i left it. Nomatter which one of these DaiZy things i play, i can't continue my Character if i like have to close the game down and stuff. I have to start all over again :c
ALSO (Last thing) A request for another DaiZy version of a mod of the DayZ Mod (I don't think i'm supposed to post it inhere, but i'll give it a shot anyways, because i don't quite know where to.) I would LOVE it, if we could get a DaiZy version of Origins, and Mercenary.

If you can write the whole error out, I can help you instantly.

It's either that you haven't moved the addons folder from ArmA2 to ArmA OA, or that you don't have the mod properly setup.
