using the flush command didn't cause the scripts to kick back in, I tried the command and waited at two fresh locations, waiting for five minutes at each, but no zeds or loot. For now its a case of save often, that is move to fresh location, to check spawning is still occurring and then save. Hope you have luck with your testing. Regards |

Simply put, you can't. Believe me, I've tried. Rocket has done something that prevents a LAN game from being started without hive etc. It just stalls on 'waiting for server to start authentication'. If you want to play LAN, google "DayZ private server files". You'll need to setup a lot of shit though.

@Doughnutz: Thanks for the save/reload suggestion. I fixed up a pickup and drove from Cherno to Elektro with no zeds or loot spawning. Waited for 30 mins, rested in tent with still no spawning. reloaded a save from just before I left Cherno and traveled to Elektro again, slower this time and within five mins of exiting the vehicle zeds & loot started spawning.
I wonder if traveling by vehicle is the catalyst and it is hit or miss if the spawning script kicks in. I dont know if it has to do with travel speed but my mph on the first trip was 85-93 by road. My second trip I slowed down frequently and traveled off road a bit more. |

ok but now it says "Your Already Building!" when im not building anything any ideas on how to fix besides restarting and i want to build the land pump
oh and what i meant was how do i rotate the object around or do i have to face a different way (walk around in circles until i get it in the right position) thanks :) |

That error could be related to the 1.8 crafting system, but I'm not sure. And yes, to rotate an item, you just turn. You don't really have to move to turn it. :) And no worries, Haleks would have to give you more accurate information, though. |

Just started to try this Mod again, as my internet went down a few days ago...
I must say, it has extremely improved from last time I played this a bit ago... Runs smoother for me, and I also enjoy playing it as singleplayer... Just to clarify as someone said before: After playing about 4 hours in the game, I started to encounter less Zombies (I waited a few more hours) and loot stopped spawning in Cherno, but I might try to go away to another city, save the game and come back to see if that works. I have encountered about 6 Bandit groups, 1 Heli and about 6 survivors in a short time, so that kept me playing and I loved the battles! I have to say, thanks for all the effort you put into this, I certainly enjoy it more now and I can't wait for future updates to see what is new or fixed! 1 quick thing: I absolutely love playing Epoch (Before my internet stopped!) and I found out I'll be disconnected from internet for a long while... I tend to kill survivors as most of them I encountered tend to commonly have sandbags/tank kits on them, which is awesome! But to get to the point, is there any way to build a small base through the Editor on one of the missions? I don't mind researching into things, but I just want to check if it's possible?

I think this happens after crafting with the 1.8 crafting system. I had similar errors with the Epoch building system. |

This mod is so much fun, but I can't seem to get my recruits to enter the vehicles I fix or spawn. Any suggestions?? |
Do you use the command menu to order them to get in?
The only reason I'm aware of, is that they won't get in a vehicle if it's badly damaged or undrivable. |

The vehicles are fixed and I even tried spawning a few to see if recruits would enter them. Nothing has worked so far. I'm not very familiar with the Arma command system, but I did try the menu using backspace + 1, 2, 3, and 4 to no avail. Can you tell me where I can find the order I'm looking for? Thanks for helping me with this. :S |
Select your units and press '4', it should display any vehicle in the vicinity, you can then order them to drive, get in turrets or get in as a passenger. EDIT : by the way, I'll work on a bug-fix update (I was busy with 2018), it should be available next week. |

Ok another quick question... how come it says when building it will take 30seconds but it accually takes 2-4 minutes
and is there anyway to fix it so that it will build faster thanks :) |

Looking forward to the update and hoping for a fix for the spawning issue, as, sadly, 3.0.2 did not solve the problem for me.

I like the 1.8 zombies, becuase the AI will never really be a challange, unless you take the fun out of it and just have them aimbot you. So the zombies in combination with the AI is probably as ideal as it gets (in my opinion). |
