I finally figured it out! I'm still really noobish when it comes to Arma 2 controls, so I had no clue how to select units. I found most of what I needed on this link.

Ah hell, well I might as well post the mission file for testing now before I forget about it.

Download it from here yo

Will release it later.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I left my debug markers on for testing. Orange circles represent buildings bandits will patrol. Hints will pop up notifying you of a bandit/soldier spawn and if they are patrolling buildings (20 or more building positions in area) or just using the old fnc_taskPatrol method (below 20 building positions in area)

Hi, I’ve been playing the mod for the weekend , nearly fifteen hours, it is still version 3.0 Walking Zeds + Car Patrols, did my camp in the small forest " Basnhya " northwest of NWAF .

What I’ve noticed is, sometimes the zombies and loot don’t spawn , but reverting to a previous safe , usually solve this problem :)
I record every 20 minutes or so, is better than starting a new game, and always bring a camping tent with me to "clean " the loot .
The 9 hours sleep aren’t accurate , when I chose to sleep nine hours, twenty-five have passed.

I made a "mini-marathon" 10 km, from my camp to the factory which is north of Solnicnhiy to get a Ural that spawns there, were about 22h and ran for one hour, every Km I had to stop and use a heat pack , or make a fireplace to get the temperature up , that lasted more or less until being just 2 km from the coast. after reaching the coast the temperature no longer lowered if I was running.
Some heli crashes continue to spawn without the ammo box.

something must have happened , I can’t rearrange the ammunition , I can convert them , eg: M24 to DMR , but don’t let me rearranging , gives the message that I have to wait until the previous operation to finish. I remember an old bug that occurred when refueling the vehicles, that if a player do something at the same time it preventing from re-fill the jarrycans.
Found a Camonet in the NWAF barracks , tried to use it , but says: “You need the EXACT amount of whatever you are trying to build without extras.”  tried to build with nothing else in the inventory, but the message was the same.

I don’t recruit, survivors, because each time I change my skin, it's a race to see who arrives first to the vehicle, they usually win. to solve this, I murdered 4, to see if they weren’t so friendly, until now, no other car has not disappeared.
The building is bugged to, as stated, but apart from the time it takes to build, sometimes we get to keep the materials we just used for the construction.

Overall the mod is very good.
Once again, thank you and everyone else for the effort that you guys put in this mod, to fix the bugs.

The “You need the EXACT amount of whatever you are trying to build without extras.” error seem to be because of the building system, I recognize it from when I had the earlier building version.

Yep, that's the building system indeed :/
I'll apply the same fix I found for the tents, should be good.

As for the temperature, I didn't realise it would so could up North...
Will fix that ASAP!

That's because they introduced variables similar to the ones Daimyo had set up for his script...
Shouldn't be too hard to fix though.

Oh yes, I'll have to mess with that when I add the Epoch building system. What I did the last time was just removing those "Crafting already in progress" "functions". Btw, I sent you an email (I don't wanna bust your nut, just saying).


Will I make a Hard Corps release? I'd love to, their work is great. To be honest, though, I don't know when/if that would happen. I might in the future.

IMO the temperature is well balanced, if you wanna travel in the cover of the night you suffer the consequence of catching cold, but travel during the day, and you have the risk of being seen by the enemy.

in previous version, I barely care about heatpacks, but now, I find myself looking for them more often
maybe there's a chance of adding the warm clothes from Namalsk ? don't know if that's too much to ask.

New to Daizy Factions and having a ball so far! Thanks for this mod, brilliant.

I have come across a couple of problems which maybe somebody can help with:

1. Getting this error "wait for the previous action to complete to perform another" when trying to make a stash. I see that somebody else had this problem earlier in this thread but I cannot find what the solution was.

2. The equipment lockers by each of the heli crash sites disappear after you have rested in a tent (presumably deleted by the cycle loot script??). I have tested this by (a) not resting and visiting three crash sites where lockers appeared and (b) visiting the same three sites after resting in a tent with the result of there being no lockers in existence. I saw somewhere that the equipment was placed in the lockers so that it wouldn't be deleted by the cycle loot script!?!

Running 3.0.2 with all recommended mods as per your original post and no others.

Ok another quick question... how come it says when building it will take 30seconds but it accually takes 2-4 minutes
 
and is there anyway to fix it so that it will build faster

I saw that Daimyo is using a weird timer method, but since I didn't wrote the script, I don't know if I can fix it. Will try though.

I have played 3.0.2 car patrols for two days (in game time)
No zombie, loot and road block spawn
I found lots of bandit and survivor, heli crash site also spawn weapon crate, and found a bandit camp
Last time I saw zombie is my team shot down an AI helicopter, it deleted after few mins, after that I see nothing.
Also I found that in survivor's target list (F2 select-->press 2), it shows so many target names animal, but when I target them, they disappear immediately, I guess zombie become invisable animal?

Yesterday managed to take down a enemy heli without destroying, well sort of,
just tried to hit the rear rotor, and after a few minutes he finally landed. killed the two bandits who came in the heli, and I immediately thought I had won a free heli.

When I got to the heli, the hull and avionics were red, as I had some scrapt metal, I tried to fix it, but there was no option to.
I mean, when we roll the mouse wheel, there's the option to repair vehicle, but then we have nothing to fix.

I've also found some skins, which has no description in the inventory, and when tried to wear, nothing happens.

Still on the 3.0 Walking Zeds + Car Patrols

Yeah that is a problem with spawned vehicles : they don't use the dayz damage system.
I'll see if I can get it working on them though.
In what kind of building did you find the clothes package (should help me to identify it)?
