Woah that's weird... The recruit sequence in v1.3 looks like this :
"
_unit = _this select 0;

[_unit] join player"

I can't see how those two lines are healing the npc's :/
A2 engine never stops to surprise me! ^^

sorry for wrong info. the unit-symbol changed green after klicking on recrute , but after reload the unit is wounded again....

Yeah, I tried it earlier ^^ Recruiting back a survivor will only reset his squad icon.

btw, about that friggin' building script...
Good news is : I've (finally) identified the lines of codes responsible for the performance drop.
Bad news is : I've no idea on how to fix it!  ;<

I will mess with it once I've got some rest. If I can't sort it out soon, I'll keep it for later and most likely upload a new mission file with all the changes from Factions v1.4.2 (modified cheat menu & AI gear), except for the updated building script.

Been trying to get DaiZy working co-op, I decided to try and play this with my friend but there was only 1 spawn point for players. Please make a version or send me it somehow with two playable spawns just so my friend can play. If this is out of the question, I am sorry for asking. But it took me ages to figure out how to host DaiZy so we could both play. And your DaiZy version is easily the best, we were both in but my friend was simply in a wasteland somewhere unable to move due to there only being 1 playable spawn. Any reply will be appreciated. Thanks ;)

I'm afraid I can't help much since I have pretty much no experience at all in this matter :/
Don't even know what file to edit, tbh >_<
I googled a few things but didn't find much atm.
By the way, if anyone knows, I'd appreciate a hint ;)

The OA patch. But nevermind - I don't think it was related to the beta; the infinite ammo glitch should be fixed for the next update.

I get your point. What I'm missing though is a persistent world where changes stay on death. Ofc there is multiplayer for that, but it would just be cool to play in the same world always when you don't feel like multiplaying :) The whole "world-reset" is, for me, breaking the immersion just as much as the cheat menu.

I believe it is the actual Mission file, but the way I edited one of the DaiZy X versions was to use "PBO view" to extract the PBO mission file into a folder, then place that mydocuments, arma2, Missions or mpMissions or  Usersaved or something like that. Then I launch arma 2 again go into multiplayer, host then when I choose the mission to play, I go to Chernarus and the mission is there in blue and it gives me the option to play or edit. I edited it and copy and pasted the spawn point and made the pasted spawn "playable". I have been trying to get it working for a while but for some reason when I do this, it gets rid of the zombies. The AI bandits still spawned and the friendly survivors spawned. Unfortunately I can't try this with your DaiZy factions for some reason, I looked it up and apparently you can only extract DaiZyX mission files for some reason. Its all very annoying and confusing but me and my friend desperately want to play this co-op. If there is any way you can figure it out, I would very much appreciate it :)  I completely understand if you can't, I have been trying to figure this all out for a while but keep getting annoying glitches and problems :(

I advice using PBOmanager rather than PBO view; it's the one I'm currently using, so maybe that's why it doesn't work with pbo view...

That worked. I added another spawn and made them both "playable" and changed all the triggers from being activated by "player"s to "playable"s but for some reason my friend spawns without a hud or any gear and zombies and bandits just completely ignore him :(  I spawn somewhere random on the coast (Correct) with all my gear and my hud, and zombies and bandits attack me. Anybody know how to fix this?

Yeah I guess; just drop the dayz_factions file in the BP addons.
Zeds should be recognized as ennemies by the AI, but you may stumble upon some oddities such as survivors engaging you on sight : Above uses different models than mines. Right now the factions file is designed to work with specific skins - it needs a few tweaks to fully work on BP.

Hey man, great work with the mod, but I only have two problems for some reason my food drink and sometimes help just decrease very fast for no reason, and thenwhen I try and spawn ammo theres no assult rifle ammo option or anything, any idea why.?

How much does it take to be empty?
I'm currently updating factions 1.3 and I've spent a lot of time playing/testing without noticing anything. :/

EDIT : How many FPS do you guys have when playing? IME, some games don't like very high framerates and behave strangely - for instance I cap my framerate to 60 fps when I play on Skyrim (or 45, don't remeber).
