Anyhow, I can confirm that one can get infected from drinking non boiled water from ponds (tested it) and it works. I also managed to fix M107/M2 humvee rounds - they do make damage now. Change is in dayz_code.pbo file in config of the ammunition. Damage values of 12.7 rounds were set to 0 when those guns were removed from the DayZ. Oh well, I guess I can live with no weather effects and the tent. In any case thanks for reply with info on that code Above. Cheers mate.

Weather also works. The temperature is just set way to high to get sick by default. I changed this in older releases to make clothing matter. This should be the case in the Namalsk version. However Chernarus summer isn't THAT cold.

wow i love these mods, helps give some practice for multiplayer. you modders are killa. but just wondering if anyone still follows this thread? as i was wondering if the base building ever got implemented? i now i downloaded the latest version cos i downloaded it nov 2014

lol never mind i guess u got sick of finishing the mod above. don't pull a "dean rocket hall" on us. what a shame.

The tent is glitched, I reported the issue a few posts earlier with some other as well. I managed to solve .50cal ammo problem but the tent isnt working. Same as weather influence I believe.

Hey, Above! Having an issue with loot spawning. I'm currently in Elektro and I have walked in most buildings and absolutely no loot has spawned. Any way I can fix this?

Just stopping by to say that you were right after all Above. Weather does work indeed - I just havent had cold weather until now in Chernarus, but definitely it happened on NW airfield today. Temperature dropped and I got sick. So, the only issue currently is the tent, everything else is fine. And I'd really love an update with ability to salvage parts from vehicles

I cannot seem to fix this problem, whenever i put more than a few hours into a character, the game begins to lag.  I don't mean lag like a FPS drop, i mean like switching weapons takes 20 seconds, opening LOSTKEY takes sometimes 30 seconds or more, just a severe delay in everything input-related.

I've had this problem with not only DayZX but also vanilla daizy as well as 2018.  I am wondering if, number one, anybody else has had this problem, and number two, does anybody know any way of correcting it?

I had a theory like perhaps it was a map cache or something because it seems like the more you explore and gather loot the more it does it.  I am not by any means a mod creator or have those types of skills so i don't want to go editing files that may harm the mod.  

if ANYONE could help out with this it would be good, it really sucks because i don't even want to put any amount of serious time into a character because i know eventually i will just have to restart.

I am so lost... I was using the basic Daizy 0.43 mod until I saw this and wanted to "update" but when using ModFolder method, or simply replacing the "dayz_code" file, as soon as I launch the game, it says it can not load mouse cursor :L so I can't play... also when loading Chernarus, the whole map is EMPTY.. no buildings or anything... HELP... could you give me a step by step on what to do? Do I even download the basic Daizy or not? also, my Steam wont launch Beta Patch, if thats the issue...

So I started playing last night, all started off in pure DayZ fashion, I was shot at 2 mins after I spawned and zombies hit me down to 60% health... all was fine for hours, I was finding loot, killing zombies and AIs.. and then I left the coastal towns.... oh boy.. Balota airfield was EMPTY... Zeleno was EMPTY... NO ANIMALS, NO ZOMBIES, NO AIs and NO FUCKING LOOT... really??? Today, I restarted and the same thing happened again... as soon as I left Cherno, there was NOTHING ANYWHERE... I found a Car, gassed it up and drove for ages and there were no AIs and no zombies.... fix this please, I had a great time while it worked...
