I'm glad you think so, I've only implemented the UI, though. Don't expect all changes from 1.8 (wich I don't even know what they are). So if you want any feature, now's the time to tell me. Because I'll release it soon. :P

Here's a picture of the full UI so that you can see what I've done. I'm still trying to find the hearing/vision icons. :)

Oh and do you know why, when i save a game and try get back into the save it says that i am missing content of something, you know the message you get when you're missing something haha

Your FPS have to depend on something else than the mission. Because my old hobo rig runs it perfectly. :P


And that error most likely means that you're missing whatever it's saying. :o

If it was the mission, everyone would lag.

It might be connected with the error you're getting. How do you launch the mod?

I just worked out why it was not working, i was entering the game with Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead launcher. Try using the Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Beta launcher, that worked for me.

Alot of people get errors for missing files. It starting to seem like Google drive is garbage, like the rest of their shit company. I can assure you that it's working properly, though.
*EDIT: You might have to re-download. :/ I think that's what fixed it for the others with the same issue.


One more thing, sorry for the screenshot spam. But I've added the "new" models shown in the picture below, too. I don't know what else from 1.8 is worth adding. I might add the bats, but not the crafting system since we got 2 already. I'll try (at some point) to replace them with the epoch/1.8 ones.

ALSO! Those Podagorsk files will be compatible with the Chernarus mission. (The Chernarus mission still needs an update, though).

And guys, I'm about to upload the Podagorsk release. But I'll just update this post, because it'll be those files, just that they got a new mission that is compatible with the same files (both will be connected completely later on, so that you can travel from Chernarus to Podagorsk and vice versa).

2.3 changes:

- DayZ 1.8 features (new UI, new item world models, capability to have 2 primaries and switch between them etc etc).

- Some DayZero skins.

- The DayZero weapon customization system (it does NOT work on ALL weapons).

- A new map, Podagorsk. (Will eventually be connected to Chernarus, so that you can travel in between).

I'm thoroughly enjoying playing this (I've played about 3 hours strait)
Everything is awesome, but I'm finding the AI spawning system kinda annoying.
Would it be possible to spawn AI only inland; either in groups or in vehicles?
I'm finding the current one (spawn as individuals, spread around a 2km radius) to always get me killed.
I understand if I'm asking for a bit of work, (I dunno if this would be hard or easy) so pleasedon't stress yourself.

First of, I'm glad you're somewhat enjoying it.
Secondly, it's a shame you don't like how the AI is spawning, however those are coded and designed to act like players, in multiplayer. Of course you'll bump in to squads, but there will mainly be individual AI. It's all about taking your time, making sure the corners are safe. That's something that comes with DayZ. :P

It's 1km btw. ;p

I'm not saying that your wish is not worth my time. I can make a custom mission for you at some point. I'm just saying that it wont be officially changed. Until then, I suggest playing FACTIONS, there are squads in there.

I'm not trying to act rude, it's just that I got abit to do on this, I'm uploading the update now. But I gotta make the travel part aswell.
