So when i build a watchtower i get a delay between the building seconds 30sec ... to the 20secs
takes 3times the time as normaly in 1.7.6.1
So u can poke the nose .. shoot 2 zombies , and continue the nose digging :D and build to the 10secs
Until i made a custom variables.sqf with the buildings u may build with BB 1.2.1
I need it for sure on a MP-dayz else no 1 can build without error

Hey! Im playing this Single Player mod right now and its awesome! But can someone tell me a few things:

1.Where is the "magic box" containing all weapons and how to get it.
2.Cheats....how to get/use them.
3.Everytime I change the skin under the radio menu it changes back after a while and says something in the lines of: "SinglePlayer Detected! (in the chat)" or "can't count mags"


But excellent job nonetheless ;)

The Magicbox is available in the radio menu (press 0 twice) in the optionnal mission file with cheats.
It will spawn at 1 or 2 meters in front of you.

I will throw an eye on that skin thing (do you have everything up-to-date though?).

Well in my DayZ Commander the only things that aren't up to date are Epoch and Origins, which is corrupt. And I know im kind of a dumbass but I would be most thankful if you could just tell me how to install the cheats files cause I think I did it wrong

You just need to download the optionnal files, and place one of the "cheats" mission in your missions folder.
Once in-game you can bring up the cheat menu by pressing zero twice.

And that's it! ;)

Also about your skin problem, could you tell wich beta patch you're using?

Sure I'm using the normal Arma II OA Beta Patch. But! Before you ask me to update the beta patch I've tried that. And every single time it says "Wrong CD Key". I swear dude I have a legit steam Arma II Combined Op. I didn't torrent it. So I really don't know what's wrong with it

You may not be running rMod.




And Aivar: It seems like you have a steam version of the game and you are trying to run the game with a non-steam CD-Key. That's when it comes to the issue usually that you have a 'wrong cd-key.'

How that happened? You either hacked and got banned the last time and then failed to modify the OA key properly, or you are trying to get some cd-key working from a non-steam OA key generator, which obviously won't work.

If you didn't do anything as such which I mentioned above, then contact BattlEye for a new cd-key.

They don't always spawn even on an area where you tend to trigger them.  There is some randomness to the likelihood and I have seen this by repeatedly reloading savegames.  Even when they do spawn, they will never 100% engage in the same routine or flightpath that you saw them do in an earlier  reload of a savegame.

Just be patient and just play the game as you normally do without worrying about if you find an AI chopper.  You will run into them soon enough.  They also tend to be more aggressive in going after you if they spot you in a vehicle.

Lastly, how do I get my AI squad member to pick up a specific weapon ?  I acquired an AK-107 and a M-16 w/ ACOG and neither of them are appearing as available inventory options in the '6' Action submenu of the Squad Command menu.  The strange thing is there is an option for them to pick up a CZ550 which I do not have with me.  When I click on the 'Pickup CZ550' my AI squad mate ran a few blocks away and pick up a CZ550 + ammo that had spawn in.  LOL.  This is somewhat comical because I can use that menu to get AI squad mates to automatically lead me to items like a Bloodhound sniffing out a scent trail :)

Ray, thanks for the respond. I do have the rmod properly installed so i think. I think its because i use characters thru "support call" and every time i resume game it crashes. i'll try with plain dayz uniform and see if i'll get the crash again.

It would appear that 'Support Call' has issues with Factions because one of my buddies is having problems with it too.  Here's a direct quote of what he wrote in another forum :-

I get the same error when i try to install the latest beta patch with dayz commander. i have the arma2 oa under steam and that seems to cause the problem. it still installs fine though. you just have to exit dayz commander and then reenter. i always run it as admin as well. not sure if that is needed, but it seems to work for me.

i get the same cd-key issue. it seems to happen when using arma2 oa to update the beta when you have a steam cd key full stop. it still installs fine, it just fails to verify the key at the end.
