So I've made a lan sever with this mod to play with my friends. Everything works fine, but our characters` gear/location doesn't save at all so every time i launch my server it's like creating a new game. I've tried to set up kind of a private hive but without positive results. Anyone help?

The combat timer for the self bloodbag script can be quite long, but I've always been able to use it after some time. Did you sort it out? |
Well. I waited for like 5~20mins. Still no luck. :(
FIRST time I use a bloodbag > it WORKS. JUST ONE TIME! after I fight a few zombies, it doesn't work anymore. - I'm far from Zeds. No one chasing me. - I'm far from Cities. - I'm NOT bleeding. - Just in case, I dropped my weapon. - I'm hurt (well...that why i want to use a bloodbag) - I created new character and tried bloodbag. It keeps saying "You are in combat, you cannot give yourself a bloodbag." |
Thanks for reporting it! I'm reuploading new mission files right now - the combat check for the bloodbag script has been deactivated. |

Yo dude! Apparently DaiZyFactions v1.9.zip can't be downloaded, because it has been deleted by the owner. I am guessing that you have taken it down to maybe fix something, but I just thought that I would post in case not. Really looking forward to having a run around. I played 2017Factions for a bit last night. It's much harder than DaiZyFactions for sure! Really enjoyable. Even when I got shot in the side of the head by a bandit that was camping in a bush by the side of a road. Next time... I'm going to be searching EVERYWHERE for them! |

Yeah I'll gladly sit down have have a play-test tonight. Have you at all thought about having an option for loot to not respawn? If it isn't an option then fair enough, I just thought that it would add more of a challenge to the game seeing as it's single player! After a couple of hours loot-farming down in Cherno's industrial section, I've quite often got at least 6 of everything, hehe! |

Thank god for that Ive been bashing my head trying to get the debug to work with the building script.
Seems something from the debug conflicts with the building script which continuously tells you you are in combat or have gear open. Was about to see if terminating the debug on a toggle would help. |
thanks for the heads up : something is broken indeed, and it's not related to the debug monitor. Update post-poned, I'll try to fix it before tonight! |
Yup, just realised it too, took off the debug to test building and worked once but then not again, so it wasnt the debug after all.

Everything should work now; I had to remove several restriction checks to ensure that both the bloodbag and base building script work properly. Sorry for the inconvenience guys - but I made you a surprise : the epeen monitor is back! ^^ |

Hi Haleks, Just d/l and started a new game, I am playing the Bandit Editor with cheat enabled. EDIT: The blood indicator works. I found a blood bag and used it, restoring to full blood. EDIT: I shot a bandit and he burst out in flames!!! I vaguely remember having seen discussed in the dayz forum as a bug. EDIT: I can't get the epeen monitor to show up... EDIT: The thirst/hunger do not work (they do not go down no matter what) EDIT: I have been monitoring the AI via the map->unit: I can see that their ammo goes down (from 4 magazines) until they have just one magazine, and then that magazine keeps regenerating over and over. They say briefly "out of ammo" but then a new magazine appears and they restart firing. EDIT: AI survivors have a main weapon and a secondary (mostly a Makarov), sometimes they switch. EDIT: I spent already a couple of hours in Elektro, saw a number of individual bandits but no bandit squads anymore... Anubis |

Hum... It wasn't the dayz_code; I forgot to include the fix in the missions files. Anyway it is already fixed, thanks to Anubis who reported it swiftly! ;) I'm re-re-uploading... Also about the "exploding" backpacks : it's a glitch with the one of the backpacks from BAF, it will be fixed in 1.7.7. |
