Besides the SVD and the CZ, I think the M24 has a very low chance to spawn in military buildings. You also have a chance to find the AKS 74 or the AK 107 in their PSO variant in helicrash loot. ;) |

In 2018, they do not have any fire or smoke effect - they're harder to find. Seen as right now their spawn is completely random (they can spawn in forests :/ ), I'll try to improve them : maybe have them spawn in open spaces/flat areas only. If I manage to do so... ^^' |

I think I found the reason why some jerry cans won't refill. If you're actively refueling a vehicle and attempt to refuel again too quickly (i.e. you get the message that you're already refueling), it seems to invalidate any-and-all jerry cans you have in your inventory and also in the vehicle. I had 8 in total, which I had to discard. I believe if you find new ones, the problem is fixed, but I only tried that in versions prior to v1.3. I think the problem is that there's a bit of a delay between the animation finishing and the message to say you've used a jerry can. And in those 3-4 seconds, if you try to refuel again, that's when it breaks the jerry cans. I hope this description is accurate ^. I can't see why else it does this. |

I've not had time to write a proper review as yet (no internet at home currently) but I can assure you that I have spent at least 3-4 hours on this every day for the past two weeks! Many adventures have been had, and more to come I'm sure! I have a fair amount of feedback coming your way as soon as I get a chance to sit down and write it up properly so it isn't rushed and all makes sense. I should be able to do this at the weekend at least. This mod is already pretty good, but yeah, I'll post again soon! |

A minor bug and 2 suggestions: 1) minor bug: I took from a bandit an M16A2 (not rusty, brand new) and I could not load the 2x15 taped M16 magazines, but only STANAG. The rusty M16s instead accept both (2x15 taped and STANAG) 2) suggestion: I killed my first Ghoul, I understood he was a Ghoul because he took a lot of hits to go down. When I looted the body I found only "standard" stuff. Would be nice to have better weapons and gears on those guys? E.g. rare weapons, rangefinders, NVG, the best backpacks, ... 3) Patrol Cars? Here's the current changelog for 2018 v1.4 : Replaced unfixable V3S models. Spawned patrol helis are now fixable. Changed selfActions call method to be more responsive. Minor fixes to the dayz_code (less RPT error spam). Replaced all dead bodies on the map by junk piles. Changes to the loot tables regarding ammo spawn chances. Added FN FAL to some bandits loadout & helicrash loot. Removed SVD Camo from helicrash loot. Fixed ToneMapping not working after resuming a save. Added a new custom backpack (14 slots). Added a new survivor town as well as a new NPC to recruit. Fixed an issue where too many bandits could spawn at NWAF. Fixed an issue with filling jerry cans. Fixed : All M16 variants now compatible with Taped Stanag mags. |

Played for about 3 hours and have a few suggestions bug reports and comments.
Bugs - my leg breaking from swimming into a staircase (probably an arma thing). -I started a new game 6 or 7 times and each time i had the same gear spawn with me -comfy leaf? recs - possibly a walking zeds version where the zombies are slower but a lot more hard hitting -Building system obviously -possibly start with matches comments - amazing intro i actually died the first time not realizing i was in control (could make for an interesting intro to factions as well.) - Love the balance so far, almost too hard core for me though |

Amazing news about the beta patch thing! That would explain why some people were having issues while others didn't! About the red icon thing : just ask a situation report; select your unit and press 5 twice. I'm sure there's a function that does that automatically (like when a unit is healed by a medic), but I have yet to find it... On a general note, I would advise to anyone being new to Arma to take some time and read tutorials explaining how to manage a squad. Arma being a military situation, it's not always intuitive! ;) And I'll check out the recruit/dismiss system! |

I have found them only by looting dead bandits, otherwise those are impossible to find. It does not matter, you can find enough bandages/wipes around. Matches: any supermarket has them. Anubis |
You're supposed to be able to gather them on some plants - but I never got it to work (yet)... :/ |
