So yes this would be the place to put possible bugs, but I would suggest that you spend some time in these forums going through some of the pages already posted if you haven't. You will start to see the theme for all of these SP mods. Most of the game content is intact and runs like it should, but other content like your remove option for fortifications is not. It really doesn't make it a bug, but just features of the original mod not implemented or carried over by the mod maker for SP. They are open and willing to answer questions on here though. I would suggest trying the search feature for the forums to answer a lot of your questions because more than likely someone has brought up the issues you may think you have. Please don't be discouraged about posting on here because of my rambling, but some of the questions and issues people do think they have probably have already been addressed somewhere else. Delays in spawning and actions are a common theme in all the SP mods for folks with substandard rigs. Authors are trying to work through them.

Looks like there's been some confusion here - Stalker was answering to Chi.
As for your question : I didn't provided any cheats options to this release (but there're cheat missions available for every other Factions releases though).

great mod and fantastic job to make it work!!

Is there any way I can make the selfbloodbag script to work in this one? I tried to install this:

I did everything according to instructions and even some coding of my own, but I just couldnĀ“t get it to work . Are any of you, my dear gentlemen, using selfbloodbagging of somekind? If so, please share your superior knowledge of filling my veins with "fresh" BLOOD!

Really having fun with this.

Just one thing I'm not sure about, I recruited someone in Elektro, He took off running... all the way to the airfield to sit in a plane, Also at the same time I noticed that certain zombies are tagged with a red target, I must have hit the wrong key to make that happen, Anyone know how to turn off the red tags?

hi sorry to keep carrying on about it i just want it to work so bad ...now when i try to reload a suspended mission it says "you cannot play/edit this mission it is dependant on downloadable content that has been deleted CA_missions_baf_2" ... i have updated everything and nothing worked i have un-upgraded to see if that helped .. but still nothing ...

some more info that might be a little helpful...when i launch faction from my desktop shortcut it says "cannot load/edit mission dependant on deleted content etc".... when i launch factions from my OA disk it says "cannot load/edit missions because dependant on deleted  downloadable content " and it list

This is still my favorite version. The only version I still play really, because its just the best. So thanks a lot for your effort.

I play this on mercenary difficulty, with the following mods:

jsrs, asr_ai and gtdmod_grass.

Now, perhaps interesting for you (if you don't already know):

That last mod is awesome. I found it when checking the files of the DayZero mod, and i saw they where using this gtdmod_grass. Dayzero has a nice performance. I always get very high fps on DayZero servers. Anyway, i tried it with your Daizy 2017 factions. And my average(!) fps went up from 35 to 55+ with enabling that mod. Though mostly in the fields it goes > 70 fps

The good thing about it is that grass is still there, it's just shorter and the environment still looks nice. It's better then reduce the quality in your settings.

Could be nice to use this mod in your missions by default. fps goes up, and loot spawns faster!

Yeah I was using this addon at a time, but finally ended up removing it : the clear line of sight when crawling was making things easier (I'm the challenge-lover kinda guy ^^) and wasn't very consistant with a post-apocalyptic environment.
But on the other hand it does enhance the framerate; I might add it in the recommended addons list.

Anyway, glad to know you're enjoying it - I reckon 2017 is my favorite mod amongst all dayz iterations!
(Eventhough I do not play that much lately.)

The only missing things are: (most important to not so important)

1. Self bloodbags and some spawn points for them. Form what I've seen, there's no spawnpoit for them. I think that there should be like at most 5, normally 3, rarely 0 bloodbags in the hospitals, a chance of having one bloodbag at the church, and in every big millitary location.

2. More maps, with different loot settings. For now, like 60 up to 90% of the loot I found was just junk. I actully only found one or two food cans in days (I played like around 40 up to 60 hours and only found one or two cans of food, since I was spawned)...

3. Different names. For now, there is a [28 years later] map, which have the same name as the other one... no difference...

4. A bit higher chance to find a useable car/bike/motorbike (useable = you still need the parts for it, but it's not just junk in the middle of the street)

5. Maybe finding a way to actually make a bike and/or motorbike (and parts for them) using things like scrap metal, some car parts (fuel, engine, and any other), and maybe like how you added toilet paper and razors (which I think you should be able to use as trowing knifes with like the 2 head hits to kill or 4 body hits to kill, and useable hunting knifes if you don't have one), some wheels (using a car wheel to make a bike wheel, which I think should use half the slots of the car wheel, in the inventory, rounded to the minimum = if car wheel uses 5, bike wheel uses 2).

6. Crafting custom weapons. I'd like to take some scrap metal, a car engine and some wired fence and make one of the following weapons/tools: fishing rod (if you have time for fishing... or you can't loot anything because you have a foot broken and you're on low blood), Pyro-Axe (with a "fuel tank" for 20 uses, afther what it will do the same damange as the normal axe; still able to chop down wood and stuff), Electric Hunting Knife (if you lost your axe - like when you pick a weapon; it's a glitch - you can still use the knife as a weapon... or for gutting animals, zombies and humans), Sound Grenade (Scrap Metal and a bottle or empty can; making a lot of noise, atracting more zombies, while having a bigger range (like a grenade) and keeping the zombies busy with the noise (5% of them will follow you, if they see you, but none of them will hear you), and so on...

Self bloodbag doesn't really fit into dayz 2017, I think. It's 10 years later, so there is no cooled blood left.
About the loot settings. It's dayz 2017, so the purpose of the mod that stuff is hard to find.

If you find the camps though, you will have plenty of stuff. I found one of the camps, and suddenly that becomes super rewarding. Same with killing the bandits.

For the rest of the things you mention:

Although I like your crafting idea is nice, Those are new features. they have to be specifically coded. I don't think it's realistic to ask that of the guys here.

Oh, btw, Haleks,  I found one of your bandit camps. The coincidence was that I had my tent pretty nearby ;)

This is what happend the first time :) (in the last part I broke my legs, but the icon didn't work propperly. Anyway, i knew i broke 'm :)

Hehe, that was quite a nice fight in there - especially considering that you were alone! ^^
I don't remember how many bad guys I put in those camps, but they're a bunch ;)

By the way fellows, from what I read here some of you guys have been playing for a long time on this map : did any of you experienced those delayed actions that seem to affect the 1.7.7.1 code releases?
DaiZy 2017 being based on the 1.7.4.4 code, I'd like to make sure that this problem only concerns the 1.7.7.1 releases before applying any fix. ;)

yeah, I expected only 3 or 4 (but it was a whole army ;) I will try again with real mercenary difficulty and super AI on. Because I found the AI a bit slow with shooting. But now I know  where the camp is.

BTW, do the bandits re-spawn at that camp if i go away and then come back in 15 minutes or so?

About your question: there are no delayed actions on this version. Have played it for hours. Sometimes the icons fail a bit, like with the broken legs.  for the rest it runs supersmooth.  (another thing, i thought DayZ 2017 ver 2.01 was based on 1.7.5.1 code?)
