Also does anyone know how to fix the stuttering freezing problem (i believe it happens with the AI or zombies spawning, my screen freezes and unfreeze constantly so it hard to play in SP, works better in multilan but still a big problem.
Having the same problem here.

Mission freezes every 2-3 minutes for a couple of seconds (10-15 sec), which is quite annoying.

I also think it must be somehow related to the AI, 'cos this doesn't ever happen in any other (ArmA2 or ArmA3) mission I played so far.

Would be really nice to have a fix for this. Otherwise it is a great mod / mission.

Are you using any AI mods such as Zeus AI, ASR AI etc.?
They cause these problems, though the biggest offender is Zeus AI. Try removing those first.

It could also be an unoptimized script throttling your CPU, though I have not experienced any freezing myself.

yeah I would also love for a dayz standalone single player
Very likely impossible. I can't imagine they'd keep ArmA 2 AI in the game. Zombie AI will exist, but I doubt any other form of AI will.

Could be wrong, of course.

Yes, I was using a couple of mods, like ASR_AI, BlastCore, COWarMod Lite, ...

So I disabled them all and only enabled COWarMod with the list of files recommended for DaiZy Factions: http://kodabar-dayz-daizy-single-player-forum.1084782.n5.nabble.com/RELEASE-DaiZy-FACTIONS-3-0-2-20-01-2014-UPDATED-w-Car-Patrols-td8540.html

Without COWarMod I got several ingame error messages during loading like "Could not load config.bin\Man.scope" or something like that and afterwards had ultra strange model glitches which looked like the character was flipped back to front, his arms were totally deformed and in a weird position.

But afterwards everything works like a charm now. Just played over an hour and had no problems. :)

Thanks for the hint mate.

CoWarMod have been causing ALOT of problems since I started updating towards 1.8, I can't remember all the glitches. But it would break the UI and what not. All though, it could be working better now after I've fixed some stuff and what not.

Either way, I'm glad that you got it working. I'll also be updating the different maps soon, and I might be working on a whole new mod with Fedus. It'll be "completely" new, more or less from scratch.

Oh yes, we're just flipping some ideas now, and doing some modelling.

Will this be the type of mod that becomes a major multiplayer mod?

We're actually making it merely for singleplayer. Or that's what we intended it for. I/we will probably start working with ArmA 3/DayZ, though. Especially if I/we are making a multiplayer mod.

I've changed plans, I'm redoing BreakingZero completely and renaming it "DayZ X". The old BreakingPoint code was a complete clusterfuck. I've started modding a clean 1.8.0.3 code, and it'll be more or less the same thing as this, but it'll run smoother and be better. It might not be in the first update, but you'll be able to paint weapons.

Yeah, there'll be less skins and weapons, but there will be custom weapons/skins.

All I really gotta do now is setup a map, and add the Epoch building system.

Yeah, they're alright. I've used the latest Origins vehicles for the new mod. I'm going to use the zombies, too. There probably wont be a Taviana release at first, though.

Any plans on keeping the Military Survivor Uniform on the upcoming mod? Also on the current/latest mod you released, How hard would it be to scrap the building system?

The Epoch building system is spread out in 8 ish files, and most of them, you can't just delete them. Don't you want the Epoch building system? If people don't want it, I'll make a version before I add it to DayZ X, so that there's an option.

As for the skin, I wasn't planning to use it, no.

Yes, I thought everyone wanted it, since you're not forced to use it. It will be in at least 1 version in the new mod, though. Assuming it works well with 1.8.0.3.
