When I use Google Drive, I get Unknown network error at the end and with Mega it freezes.

Edit: Used Mozilla and it worked, but the bodies are f***ed up and the patch didn't help.

I'm using Firefox 26.0 without any trash attached. I do not have any additional programs running at all, not even things like Adobe Acrobat for reading PDF files. No screen savers, themes, or additional visual enhancements. Clean bill of health on viruses/trojans as well. I'm very OCD about junk on my computer.

Google drive ALWAYS craps out on me at the very last 200-300 kb and 'fails' the download. Mega just sits there and recycles ENDLESSLY at 83% going back down to 82%. It can keep this up all day. Both of these situations happen consistently.

I find it hard to believe that my browser is causing me all this grief but I'm thinking of installing Ms I.E. to see if using that would cause either of these downloads to finish. The fact that many people can download without effort while a few people have the same issues as me points to it being a problem on my end. I just cannot fathom what that problem is.

Well, try re-installing your browser and clear your cache. Also, i guess you know but give your pc a good defrag too.

You shouldn't need to install MSIE, it's already part of the Windows operating system. As far as problems with Firefox and google drive, it's best to start with clearing the cache as another poster mentioned.

In general browser download problems are usually due to a setting in the browser changed somehow, or a firewall/security/anti-malware program.

Try running down this list.

1. Clear cache,browsing history, and cookies. Easier to do with a tool designed for the task. I use CCleaner but there many out there that works fine.

2. Set your browsers security settings back to either the default setting, or one you feel comfortable with that will allow the necessary interaction between browser and what ever service/site you are trying to access or use. The case here being google drive.

3. Check your firewall settings to make sure the software/service isn't being blocked. This would be a good time to make sure notifications on blocked services/software isn't disabled somehow.This happens a lot. if you or somebody else inadvertently turned off notifications in the firewall settings, you won't know if something is being blocked.

4. Check your anti-malware/virus protection and make sure it isn't interfering with or blocking the software/service.

5. Last, which I do not recommend unless you have no alternative; if you have done all the above and still no joy on the download, try disabling firewall and any malware/virus scanners you have temporarily. See if it allows the download to finish.If it does it is obviously a setting or something in one or both of those.  I'd do them one at a time, first the firewall, check it. If that doesn't work, then the antimalware. If it still didn't work try both.

AGAIN only do this temporarily and for testing purposes!!!

first of all, i love this mod. Second i want to ask you something: can you help me to get rid of the Zed´s spawning inside of buildings i.e. hangars. I like the idea to etablish one of these hangars for a basecamp, but it´s worthless if Zed´s spawning inside of them. I think the Idea to etablish and build up a base camp wich is safe for me as a survivor is part of the game. But you can´t accomplish this if there alway´s Zed´s spawning out of thin air. So can you help me to get a few lines of script to get a safe zone to build up a proper base camp.

Well it took me a few days to get a link to work. But I downloaded and installed it and am getting an error message saying " Include file userconfig\asr_ai\asr_ai_settings.hpp not found". Not sure what ive done. Followed instructions to the T. Help please?!?

i think you need the ASR Mod, I have it installed and got no problems. You have to install the Mod like the others in a seperate Folder and start them by add a line in your Shortcut. You can get ASR MOD here:

Hey guys, just got a new pc and was thinking of installing arma 2 on it. When i played this mod of dayz on old system i had issues with ai after changing clothes and also the ai tht joined u were stupid. Was just wondering if this has been fixed. I installed the ASR mod but am still getting the same message. Here are my launch parameters as of now ( -mod=@BreakingZeroNamalsk;@CBA_CO;@ASR_AI )  I dont get it, I can see the .hpp file in the userconfig folder of the ASR mod...but its not picking it up?

thats strange, my installation works flawless. Have you installed it correct? I checked something and i think you missed this: You need one Folder called "@ASR_AI" and another Folder called "userconfig" both inside your ArmA2 Mainfolder. Inside this "userconfig" Folder you need to create a new Folder called "ASR_AI" in this new created one you have to put the "asr_ai_settings.hpp"

For clarification here the Folderstructure for the Userconfig: Bohemia Interactive/ArmA2/userconfig/ASR_AI

And here for ASR Mainfiles: Bohemia Interactive/ArmA2/@ASR_AI/addons

As DonMichael said if you installed the ASR_AI mod correctly it should have gone into "..operation arrowhead/ usergonfig/ ASR_AI.

One point; If you use COWarMod You don't need an @ASR_AI folder in the Operation Arrowhead folder. It's not that type of mod. It goes into /userconfig.Remove the ;@ASR_AI from your shortcut.

I got ASR_AI from COWarmod. It had the file tree set up for me, so I just followed it's instructions.

If you downloaded ASR_AI by itself then simply copy the userconfig folder to your operation arrowhead userconfig folder and click yes if asked to merge/overwrite. Looking at the Armaholic site page for ASR_AI, the install instructions don't say you need an @ASR_AI folder.

Hi gslack,

well i installed it in the way i explained it in my post. And if i launch the game i have all the mods i use listed  at the Startscreen (where you can see all the Gameoptions). This means to me that the game is picking up each mod and running it. So far it is all working fine for me. But i don´t use the COWarMod, so i installed ASR_AI "standalone"

They recommend to use Modfolders wich means to set it up like "@ASR_AI" or whatever

I just downloaded the regular ASR mod so I can see what you are talking about. I see what you mean now. THey have a separate @ASR folder.

Using COWarMod, I just had the @COWarMod folder and the keys and userconfig folders respectively. Sorry for my confusion.

EDIT: Forgot one thing.. Usually when you get an error like "Include file userconfig\asr_ai\asr_ai_settings.hpp "
It is saying that where it is looking (userconfig folder) it cannot find that file. I got this a few times when I was sure I had it in the proper folder. I started placing userconfig files and folders in both ARMA2 and ARMA OA respective userconfig folders. And that usually cleared it up for me. I assumed it was a fragmentation issue or where it was physically placed on my Hard drive relative to the game folder itself. But who knows. Either way that usually cleared it up for me. I also had problems using playwithsix's method of using the "MyDocuments/ARMA2/" folder to install mods. Sometimes for whatever reason the mods wouldn't find the userconfig folders without a reinstall of the mod. Reinstall the mod and it worked fine. No idea why or how.

Thank you gslack and DonMichael, I seem to have gotten it working. I downloaded the COWarMod and put it into my OA folder, added @COWarMod to my parameters and it launched. So again thanks to you both for all your help!
