I was playing it right now, and I have to say I'm very pleased with the result.
I only had a couple of annoying things : I realized I forgot to empty the fueltank on some 2017 vehicles; and had a small loot delay after arriving in town in a car (but that was more or less expected...).

I think I'll reduce the number of 2017 vehicles for the next updates, and place them North; so the player shouldn't be able to find something driveable for a while. I also might (haven't decided yet) set the vehicles so you cannot repair the hull : they would be a bit less tough (they've been rotting in the wild for five years after all), and every non-2017 vehicle would have that ragged look like the post apo ones...

Don't know what you guys think about it?

Testing for 3 hours. Everything works, fast loot respawn. But I only found 2 survivors, no bandits at the moment.

Try small cities, and chernarus is the best place for firefights  ;-)

You keep using your brain the way daizy wanted it to be    lowering the amount of spawned vehicles south is a great idea ! I always find myself driving a car in no time, even buses are common south,.
Making hulls impossible to repair is something i like since i "never" repaired any hull :-), i hope most guys like the idea as i,.
Oh i met the new NPC female ! She look really nice and she was protecting her self very well with an AK74u,.

Nope :/
Only pedestrian units; the only flying vehicle in 2017 didn't have a gun - and I didn't add any choppers since the player most likely can't have the firepower to bring them down.
The only chopper on this map is the hidden wreck ;)
But if you want something to fly in, the old an2 plane has a chance to spawn on airfields.

Damn... Looks like there's a problem with the new backpack and the NPC (they have a chance to spawn with it) :/

You did have the new backpack on you when starting the game, right?

EDIT : I did some test and every single unit (included the custom & arma 2 ones) spawned with the new backpack...
Did you restart a game after updating? Are you sure you updated all the files (the new backpack is defined in the dayz_factions files)?

So tripod_bag is the new backpack ! If yes...than it's working perfect right at the beggining,. no troubles at all,.

DUDE  ! you just hurted my feelings and other players', Namalsk still have fans the same as cherno, i play them both, i love them both, and still...i don't like some other maps but this doesn't give me the right to call these maps "bullshit" just because i hate them, maybe you hate namalsk because it's a little difficult and scary and empty, i suffered gor a long time to get used on namalsk, in the end it turned to be the best map for a real survival challenge against harsh weather and crazy bandits and annoying zeds,.
So respecting devs and fans is something we all should be carefull about when complaining about any kind of release,.

No I didn´t have the new backpack on me when I start the game. Yes I restart a new game. I´m going to reinstall all the mod.
