None; I realized that one of the models I use from the NAC army in Namalsk crisis is actually a medic - eventhough I created a new config file for it. It guess it didn't completely overwrite the original one; I think I'll leave it that way : the NAC patrols will be even more dangerous.

I don't know how many shots it would take with the DMR, but I had to fire quite some to kill him.
Alright, cool. :P I'll also add a damagemultiplier to BP, I think. I already use one. But I didn't notice any difference, really.

Is everything packaged right in @NamalskFactions 1.1? There's no addons folder inside your downloads @NamalskFactions folder. Is that the way it should fall in the OA directory? There's also no addons folder for the @NC update in 1.1

Yeah man, your DaiZy missions have always been pretty solid, I'm still playing on my first life in Chernarus 2.6.1, have two AI buddies and a helicopter had to land due to running out of fuel! The whole experience has been great fun, and looking forward to playing in Namalsk!

Nice! Glad to know you're still enjoying the apocalypse on Chernarus after all this time!
I spent so much time working on it that I can't really appreciate it anymore... Wich is why I were eager to try something else ^^

And believe me, yesterday, while all was going to shit (the heli patrol arriving at me, the EVR), I was like a kid at Christmas : "Oh my goooood! Everything works!" ^^
The only Namalsk feature that is yet to be confirmed working is the Bloodsuckers : didn't see any yet. From what I could read in the code they only spawn in a few places.

Anyway, the new files should be uploaded in 15 minutes or so : it is quite big so it'll indeed take a while to download :/

Yeah man, most definitely. I know what you mean about playing in the same map, however, I started playing the DaiZy Chernarus and spent a lot of time in Cherno and Electro. Recently I've been camping out in Berezino, and before that around Stary.
So even though it's the same map, every life I have played has been quite an individual experience. I played on Above's Namalsk a few weeks ago and that was pretty fun too, even with those crazy anomaly nuke things going off once in a while!

How possible is it to have random starts? Like... really random, not just somewhere at the coast, but more like starting in a field in the middle of the map, or even slightly off the map near the west? Or the north! Or anywhere basically :)

Quite a few files would need to be re-written; but I guess it's possible to add more spawn points - I could also set a random mission time.
I'll throw an eye on that and see what can be done for a next update! ;)

Nice one! Yeah just to add that extra bit of diversity really. I played a good while on Project Zomboid if anyone likes their isometric survivals. They've updated that recently and it's slowly turning into a really nice game. Being able to put sheets over windows and board them up, even build your own house eventually I think... and things like the electrical grid failing after a few weeks etc. Neat stuff and worth a look if it's your thing!

Looks like the Namalsk weather system isn't fully working : I just found out that it is supposed to snow once in a while.
Should be quite easy to fix; I'll see if anything else needs to be modified and will uploaded a quick patch within a few days.

Hey Above! Got a question for you man!
I just found something odd in Sumrak's config file for the loot spawn. Might be nothing but... some items in the loot table are not between quotes : for instance the MRE food is set like this
{"FoodMRE", "magazine", 0.02}
while the APSI device (as well as some added guns) is set like this :
{APSI, "generic", 0.01},
I'm thinking Sumrak forgot those or didn't had time to properly test it...
Do you know if it can prevent those items from spawning?

By the way, I'm already working on a update; here's a list of fixes to expect within a few days :

v1.2
Fixed weather (snow should work properly).
Added one NAC soldier model (with helmet).
Fixed loot table (Not sure at all, but I think some items & weapons are not spawning properly due to some typos in Sumrak's code).
Removed that ugly AKS gold from the loot table.
Fixed spawn sequence for NAC patrols (they could spawn quite far from each other and take some time to regroup).

My time in this particular instance has been difficult as anything! In a good way too! Spawned somewhere I was completely unfamiliar with, picked a direction and ran. Stumbled on a walled off area full of sheds... then a group of 3 bandits attempted to headshot me from outside the walled area!
Ran into one of the sheds and thought I'll be safe... hit again! After a few hits and bandages, I finally found out that this is how they were getting me!
Still haven't managed to take the group out yet. They are doing bandage animations too which is nice to see! Yeah... I'll report back if I get them or find anything out of the ordinary.

This is a fun DaiZy release for sure!
