RELEASE : Dayz Warfare.Takistan

Release of a mission file I'm playing. Dayz (which version I don't know) implemented with BIS Warfare. Note that this is very WIP. Vilas weapon pack recommended.

That's right! At last a survival mod in Takistan. Love to check it out. What means with a very WIP? Can you run it without Vilas weapon pack?

Yep you can run without Vilas pack. Currently I'm working on squads and teams in warfare to make it less bug free

Thanks Rach! You can purchase things from town depots and HQ but I'm planning to add missions like find good stuff here kind of missions, or some loot spots to towns and disable buying from town depots. Sadly, only way to pick your character currently is launching the mission in editor. You can select your character there (you can switch sides too). I skipped that part because it included some FSM scripting. Civilians are abient, but things like civilian resistance in towns or rescue civilian kind of missions can be added. This version is like a large-scale war going between 3 factions. I'll make Namalsk version of this with scarce loot/vehicles, more challenging survival and diffrent types of side missions in some time :D.

Changes are: Reduced static weapons spawns in towns. Edited teams\squads config to give factions more diverse vehicles/units, also fix some stuff you mentioned.

wow, man, it's very impressive and amazing. It needs a lot of work yet, but you just started it and it already looks interesting.

This requires a much better missions system, with much more variety than just conquering positions, but I know that's complicated and takes time to do. If you can do it, this mod will be amazing.

Thank you for your hard work and for sharing it.

thanks for the feedbaks guys. You can buy survivial supplies at town depots and HQ. They're under buy weapons >> misc items tab. You can also repair and refuel vehicles (not all vehicles though). One thing for the vehicles is when you leave them make sure there is someone in your team sitting in it, othervise WF garbage collector deletes it. I'll get rid of civilians when I do Namalsk mission, you can disable civilians by removing the Ambient Civilians module in the editor. Adding diffrent missions is actually pretty easy once you put the main framework.

Oh my! Ops! Yep, me paying more attention. This is getting better by the minute. So much content here.

And don't mind the Ambivalent Civilians for my sake. I did later on do see some of them do work pretty good actually. I fix my settings in Editor mode. Think people do like 'em. And they do give you the jittery from time to time showing up. No need deleting them. They add value.

I think the same, I would not delete ambient civilians. Without them the map seems empty. I would only add more interaction with them if possible (that they were part of some missions), and above all I would add a greater variety of missions and fix bugs like when enemies don't attack you, that's what this mod needs for be perfect.

This is better. Only flaw. Some Independent AI freezing and Statics are glitched. Maybe little slower pace.

Don't mind this post. Redo it in your Editor if you feel the need. I'm on to it like that installing this on my main PC. Cheers and such a great mod this is, telling it again.

If based on warfare modules, then it'd also be multiplayer ( co-op) supportive? Might have to add units in for other players to pick from, but possible.

 We used to play the heck out of warfare back in the day.
