Bullet Energy Transfer and Wounding) clearly shows that even a lowly 5.56x45 Nato round should really mess up your day. Not that you should need to be shot 4 times to die.
Due to the way our body is mostly fluids, any bullet could mess up your day thanks to hydrostatic shock. (Energy transfer in liquids)
But since this is based off ArmA2, in which you play soldiers equipped with Type III and Type IV body armors which can protect against damage from 7.62 x 51mm NATO (Type III) and up to 166 grain armor piercing ammo (Type IV) you usually endure more than one bullet in the game.
I'm quite sure you'll ALWAYS die from a single headshot. (I've been insta-killed a couple of times in DaiZy.
But I wonder too if damage can be edited o.o
